We had a car go into our pool and leak oil,which made quite a mess! My wife found these pads on Amazon and had read another who had the same problem ,so we thought to give it a try, put the pads in the water, and moved around the pool until they collected enough oil .. used 1 kit and that took 80% of the oil mess out..what's nice, when removing from pool,oil doesn't leak back into pool.. worked fantastic! Took a few hours,but you can see the before and after pictures, what a difference...saved us a ton having a tanker trunk come out and charging $1000s! Would highly recommend

Everyone needs a spill kit! You can never tell what kind of mess you may need to clean up or otherwise contain at a moments notice and this complete kit has everything you need! The Stardust Spill Products Oil Absorber Kit can handle most jobs. With the ability to absorb over 13 times it’s own weight in oil / oily products, it sets the mark for effectiveness in a bright yellow bag. As a sometimes big feet challenged individual, I’ve knocked buckets containing liquids onto their side, managed to push liquid collection vessels out of the way of collecting the liquids they were meant to contain, cracked or just busted open all manner of containers on the floor and have cleaned up my share of messes - both large and small. Invariably, when we are faced with a spreading disaster, we run amok in an effort to collect all the pieces we need to mitigate those spills. Having a kit like the Stardust on hand not only reduces the time required to start the cleanup process but minimizes the time to completion. Having everything needed for most containment tasks saves you from the frustration of frantic searching to find the pieces you need to quickly address the problem at hand. Trust me, it’s a lot easier and much less frustrating to grab the bright yellow bag off the disaster shelf and put it to work. If you are like me, you’ll be glad it was there. The peace of mind the cleanup kit provides greatly exceeds its modest price. Order a couple for yourself and one for your mechanic, too. Dropped an oil cooler doing a job the other day and tossed an mat on the ground to clean up the mess. To my surprise it picked up all the oil, leaving just the coolant behind. No matter what I did it would not absorb the coolant. It was just a small amount of coolant, but I could see it. Product works as advertised. Great for my service truck. Case is a soft shell, able to be shoved into wherever.

The spill kit has everything you need to clean up an oil spill at home or work in the bright yellow storage bag. The kit comes with absorbent flat pads for floor spills and absorbent socks to stop spills from spreading quickly, nitrile gloves to keep your hands clean and bag to dispose of the used pads after cleaning the mess. The mats are thick and absorb oil quickly and efficiently. The price for the kit may seem a little high, but is comparable to other items used to absorb oil. I like that the whole kit comes together in a bright colored bag that is easy to grab in a hurry.

Nice kit, comes with storage bag, spill pads, and two long oil absorbent pigs, as well as bag to put them all in when finished. We ordered to use under our boat engine to absorb any oil that may leak into the bilge and prevent overboard discharge. Handy storage bag, and fair price.
