This is exactly what I was looking for. I'm building a Star Wars themed room which will have a lightsaber display cabinet which will display legacy lightsaber hilts from Disney's Galaxy Edge. This book is beautiful! Hard back, high quality images and amazing facts/details. Completely detailed photos about all lightsabers! And the book itself is a super cool elongated size/shape because for certain characters (like Darth Maul) who uses a double light Saber the page folds out to display his weapon!!! I got this for my 13 year old star wars obsessed nephew for Christmas. He's going to LOVE it! 5 stars! This book is a must for ANY collector teenager or adult!!! ... show more

    • Amazing for SW fans, kids or adults
I am just a kid but I love Star Wars so much! I have seen all the movies more then once, I watched clone wars and rebels and the mandolarian and I read a lot of SW books. I know a lot about Star Wars and just think the SW universe is so interesting and cool. I saw this book in August before it came out. I thought it was so cool there was this lightsaber collection book. There has never been a Star Wars book dedicated to lightsabers. I knew I had to get it, so I saved up my money and ordered it! It came a few days ago and I am really happy about it. Each page is so interesting, it tells you about the lightsaber holder and the lightsaber. There is also a picture on every page of the lightsaber user! As General Grevious would say, this will make a fine addition to your collection! ... show more

This is a great book! I leave it on my coffee table for everyone to thumb through and always get compliments on it. I like how it goes through and shows the characters saber and other versions of sabers. It’s visually stunning and fairly updated to very recent SW projects

I got the video game jedi sole survivor on pc,it gave me an interest in lightsabers,I’ve never been a starwars fan before,i got this book and love it ,to see the lore and how they are individually created by each jedi,great quality paper and artwork of many different lightsabers,I actually got 2 of them,i was highly impressed ... show more

I have not actually read the information within the book, though I have flipped through each page and looked at every lightsaber. I really love it, and have every intent to read about each one. Was a little bummed that it didn't have Darth Revan's lightsaber in it or any of the other ancient sith that I can think of for that matter. Makes for a great display on a coffee table for anyone just to flip through and find their favorite Jedi/Sith lightsaber. ... show more

    • Overpriced for casual fans
This is a nice book. I enjoy all the lightsaber hilts in one place. It’s broken down into 3 categories. Jedi of the Galactic Republic, Acolytes of the Dark Side and A New Jedi Tradition. There are about 3 gatefold pages for the pole arm lightsabers which is nice. However, the book is small. First, it’s only 156 pages. Second, the top to bottom length is short. This book is from Insight Editions, which doesn’t exactly have the best track record when it comes to bindings, so we’ll see how this one holds up. All in all, I don’t find it to be a great purchase at $26.99 unless you’re a diehard Star Wars fan like me. ... show more

This is a nice book that is long overdue. It gives brief in world and behind the scenes information on the creation of the lightsaber. It gives a brief summary of each character and a nice close-up view of each lightsaber. It includes lightsabers from just about all the new canon movies, shows, comics, books, and video game.
