I bought it as a novelty and possibly a costume piece and overall im satisfied but there’s a couple things I don’t like. It’s made out of what seems like durable thick plastic. The main design flaw is the voice changer. The speakers are located in the back so when you wear it your voice can be heard very well over the speakers. The voice changer itself isn’t very good either. Other than that it’s very cool and neat to have. Its just a shelf piece for me to look at. It’s still in the toy category for me so it would definitely be great for kids. ... show more

I ordered this way before the x-mas shopping sprees began for my 11 year old. He lost his mind when he received it and needless to say the quality of the helmet is extraordinary. If you're a collector you'll love it, detail is amazing, the speaker/voice deformer is an added bonus please be a aware that you will need the use of a small screw driver and some AA batteries for this item. Thankfully I had those at hand. If your coconut exceeds 27 inches in circumference, I do not recommend you put it on. ... show more
