My heater stopped working after about 4-5 months. I wrote a constructive review and the manufacturer sent me a brand new one at No cost. I would definitely recommend this heater. It does work for it's intended purpose. I live in Idaho so it doesn't work well in the winter. But spring & cold summer nights are perfect. We have it bolted above our outdoor dining area. Thank you Star Patio for coming through for us.

This is a nice outdoor heater that puts out quite a bit of heat. The remote is convenient and it also has a pull string to turn it on and off. I like that the head swivels in a variety of directions so that you can point it where you want it, and the mounting bracket keeps it away from the surface area that it’s mounted to. I was concerned about it getting hot in the area above it which would be a fire hazard, but it doesn’t appear to get hot on the outside of the frame and the heat goes exactly where you point it to. My only complain so far is that the instructions say not to use it with an extension cord, which is just about impossible as the cord isn’t very long and unless you can mount it directly above an outlet there really isn’t any other choice. This severely limits installation locations. I wish the manufacturers had thought to include a much longer cord or at least offer other options.

This heater lasted about two weeks and then it quit. We were using it on our cover patio for heating, about two hours per day. Very sad.

Not as big as advertised and it died faster than any heater i have tried thus far. It had been put on my back porch for a couple weeks. In that time frame it was used maybe 5 or 6 times. Now it will not heat up or put off any heat what so ever. Just up and died. I know its not the power source as the unit itself will still actually turn on. So its getting juice. Its acting like the heating elements themselves just up and died. Will not be recommending this one.
