This toolbox is worth the purchase. Buy it now before the price hikes again. It used to be $30, and over time its increased to about $40. It's a very spacious compartmentalized toolbox. I had been eying this toolbox for about a month. Working from home, it's hard to justify spending money on a plastic toolbox with wheels, specially when you could just buy a big metal workshop one for twice the price, twice the space, and twice the durability. I got this delivered, and immediately started tossing stuff in it to see how much could fit inside. I was surprised I was able to fit just about all the tools I use regularly (see customer images). The best part of all, the independent toolbox on top. Apart from being spacious it serves a useful purpose of putting in there what you need from the bottom bucket, and just lugging the top toolbox around. The material is the same plastic you can expect from a regular 16 inch Stanley toolbox. It feels durable for light/medium-duty work, whether working from home or just to lug electrical and a few power tools around. If you work in a harsh environment, you might want to look for a heavy duty rolling metal toolbox instead. The latches, and handle, are more than sturdy. You'd have to really abuse this toolbox to break something off on it. Sidenote: One of the latch lock pins was bent during delivery by Amazon via UPS, I was able to bend it back with some pliers, but have to really push hard on the latch to the side to properly lock it now. I am concerned about the future integrity of this latch which was damaged in transit, so buyers beware!

I have a lot of tools and try to organize them by their use. This roller will carry those that I consider - first in line for the basics. It has enough room on top to carry wrenches, pliers, etc.... The next level down is for screws, small nails, etc... The bottom will carry skilsaw, drill & bits, hammers, etc... The rollers make the trip from shop to auto much easier if mobility is called for. Do NOT pick up the loaded box by the roller handle... Duh. Loaded - the box is pretty heavy and the handle will break. The box has a carry handle on the top piece (there are three separate parts to the workshop). Regardless of the organization, the tool that I need is always in the other box (I have three) for some reason, but I find comfort knowing that - all - the tools have a place to be so I don't have to search too long to find what I need. Sometimes there's nothing quite like having a 5 gal. bucket handy to drop those tools being used and, when done, can easily be resorted and placed back in their respective homes. Hmmmm.... now where's that 1/2" box end I had just a minute ago? Oh yeah..... bucket.

I can say decent for light work if you put to much weight in it the wheels tilt out and the bottom scrapes against the floor but for light tools and work it would do find.i wished the wheels would of been more solid that they wouldn't bend out ward but other then that I still like it holds most of my tools and I'm happy with it ,the top and middle are perfect enough to space for tools and screws or what ever you have to use but like I said the wheels is the only bad part and time will say how everything holds out .would recommend for light work and light tools ..

I got this tool box for my 8 year old granddaughter. We use the bottom box with wheels for large art supplies like canvases, art paper, and other tablets. The yellow (middle) box we put oil paint tubes and other paints. The top tool box has a tray and that is where we keep paint brushes and small cake decorating materials. The top tool box is where we store all large items for cake decorating. As you can see, although my granddaughter is only 8, she loves her tool box and loves keeping her supplies organized and handy to get to. She says she doesn't want to take her tool box home because it is so cool that Daddy would take it for his tools! The is a great tool box on wheels that has a comfortable large handle for pulling behind you. The fact that the tool box comes in sections is one of your greatest selling factors. The sections keep things handy and you don't have to dig through the box like most tool boxes.

This is worth the price if you are a crafter or someone who doesn't need to transport heavy tools. If there is any real weight in the bottom it drags on the ground as you roll it. If there is any real weight in the top workbox - it can easily tip the whole thing over. The latches for connecting the top work box to the bottom storage area won't last too long as the 'catches' on the workbox are only a thin piece of beveled plastic. - Once those start to chip, there will be no fixing them. I like the idea of it. The price was right. But, unless you are a quilter or someone who transports fairly light materials - this is not for you.

Hello! I purchased this rolling workshop for my husband who travels a lot to friends and family's homes to fix things. He is always looking for a tool bag he laid down somewhere and I thought this would be perfect. Now that I have purchased it I think I am going to buy another one for myself. It is very durable and easy to maneuver. With the large wheels you can move it all around and not get stuck, once we loaded it up the same was true. The latches are strong and tight and there is a lot of space. With three separate places to store things you can take a lot with you. If we tried to load everything up it would take more than one trip from the garage to the truck. With this workshop it all goes in and rolls out to the truck, then rolls back to the garage again. I will be purchasing one for myself soon. The amount of craft and sewing supplies I can get in here and take with me is ten fold what I can fit in a craft bag. With the tray and the mid-section compartment I have places to store all the odds and ends that would get lost in the bottom of a bag. We definitely recommend this and are very pleased with the purchase.

I'm going to have to figure out how to break this down, because there's a LOT of problems here. Let's try a four chapter approach. I'm going to be as brief as possible, but the problems with this toolbox are so pervasive it's not something that can be summed up quickly. Actually I suppose I could: "Do not for the love of whatever deity you believe in purchase this item." Now the full version. Let's start at the literal top. First are the latches for the pull handle. They let water in. If you strap this case down in the bed of a work truck and drive through a bit of drizzle, your stuff will already be rusting in the top box and tray when you get on site. A latching plastic box seems like a moot point when it's got holes in the top that let not only water, but dust, dirt, grit in. The tray, let's talk about that. It doesn't snap or secure in any way and the slightest jostle will dislodge it and dump its contents (which often includes water or various types of dirt) into the top box. And by "slightest jostle" I mean... deploying the handle and pulling the boxes somewhere. Then when you open it to sort everything out, you find that the lid doesn't like to stay open and keeps closing on you. So, so far with the top box, the latches let in water, the tray doesn't stay in place, the lid doesn't stay open. That's 0 for three. Some games call that a strikeout. Now let's discuss the bottom box, because things get worse there. The bottom box doesn't have a lid. There's the organizer there, but it isn't hinged to the bottom box, and you HAVE to use the organizer for two reasons. If you don't, the shape of the top box distorts upon being latched (due to flimsiness) and the tray won't fit in the top. Second, if you don't use the organizer and you put the top box down on the ground to get something out of the bottom and then put it back, you're dumping all the dirt that stuck to the top box down into the bottom box when you replace it. So this toolbox lets the stuff in the top to get wet and the stuff in the bottom to get dirty. Lastly is the wheels. They drag on the sides of the box because it's so flimsy and it bows down when you put... anything heavier than play children's tools in it. The boxes are fairly spacious, but you can't put much in them or it distorts the shape. So what we've basically got here is a rolling tool box that's not very good at rolling, can't hold many tools and can't protect the tools you DO put in it. There's no way this product saw any sort of testing before being put on the market. *edit* After two months of use, a couple of other problems cropped up. The pulling handle is just too low and too short. A person of normal height cannot pull this thing around with any sort of comfort. Then there's the very picky angle the box must be at for the wheels to actually reach the ground. Combine that with the handle, and it's fairly difficult to actually get this thing to roll on its wheels, and rolling is the entire point of the box. Then, lastly for this first and final update, is the fact that it tapers down at the bottom and is extremely top heavy. A gentle bump can knock it over, and with the pulling handle extended, it will break off and that will be the end of this toolbox, as it was for me. And thank the gods for that. I just noticed the price went up! Hah! They must be joking! Fifty dollars for this? Not even remotely worth it.
