There are slight differences in the construction that make it a nice drinking experience in comparison to other tumblers. First, the construction of the straw is rounded instead of square, which makes it more pleasant to sip from. The straw attachment is good quality and is secure so no air bubbles. The glossy finish on the tumbler is nice, and it has a nice handle. Would I pay $50 for a tumbler? No. HOWEVER, I am pleased with this purchase on sale and can say that it is a good quality tumbler. I've been wondering what the hype is about these Stanley tumblers. I keep purchasing cheaper tumblers that look like Stanley, but I'm always disappointed.
