  • Great saw !
Does the job , but be careful it is extremely sharp !

  • Great cuts for the money
I use this to cut down oversized pallets, that I then either use as salvaged wood or for burning in a woodstove. Nice to be able to cut without needing access to electricity. Cutting through pine is so easy. Cuts through oak and other hardwood also pretty simple. I've probably spent 90 minutes sawing with this (that is a lot of wood). I estimate that cutting through 1/2" by 4" takes 3-4 seconds. Probably 10 seconds for a 2x4. And that is ordinary sawing. If I was racing, I could get it close to 5 seconds. Anyway, with all of that sawing, no deterioration evident in the sharpness of the blade yet. This is probably ok for precision work. I'd recommend a Japanese saw for that, however - these teeth are fairly large. But you can make do with this. Enjoy. ... show more

  • Stanley Hand Saw 8-Tpi
The product is good because this is Stanley.

  • Sharp!
I was using an old rusty saw before getting this, so I was very happy when I started using this saw. Pros: This thing cuts 2x4s so easily I can't believe it. Not worth the bother to get out an electric saw, would not hesitate to start into 2x6 or 4x4 when I need to. Cons: The blade is a little thin/flexible when starting so go easy on the first cuts. Also the 45/90 blade to handle angles are off more than a little bit so I still need to use a square to draw my lines. The cost is nothing compared to the time saved on a project by using this sharp saw. ... show more

  • Great little saw for garden and yard work
This is a great little saw for small-medium trees in the garden. The blade is aggressive and makes short work of unwanted branches and tree limbs. My second one in seven years, used weekly! (I would buy replacement blades if available, but the saw is inexpensive enough.) Much better than using power tools, for more accurate pruning and trimming. Recommended ✅ ... show more

  • Convenient sized multi-purposed saw
This is the handiest, all purpose hand saw I have owned. I had one for a long time, but a few years ago, it was lost in a move. Happy to have a replacement!

  • So far i like it
This is a great little saw, its not desinged to go out and cut trees down or take off limbs. Not saying it wont but there are better tools that would take less time. If you are into woodworking like i try to be, then this is perfect for making clean up cuts, or even precise crosscuts provided the user is skilled. The teeth are very aggressive, much better than what we had 20-30 years ago. I would diffenatly buy again. ... show more

  • Functional saw
This saw is perfect for cutting plywood, hardwood, or softwood dried or green. I carry this around in a tool box on my trailer. meets all my needs for a handsaw. The set is a little much, but then it's a general purpose saw. It is not a saw for fine furniture making and it's not sold as such. The teeth are induction treated and can't be sharpened, but the saw plate is useful for any number of other purposes when the teeth eventually wear out. ... show more
