This is an Every Day Carry for me. I only put filtered water in it, but it works just as well as beer. :) Fill it in the evening, put it in the refrigerator, water stays cold more than 24 hrs. I carry it with me if I'm moving from living room to studio. Stay hydrated & cold water tastes better than tap temperature. Absolutely liquid tight seal, tight carry handle, great growler. IF this one wears out, it will be years from now, I'll get one just like it.

After a ton of research, I purchased my first Stanley Growler about a year ago (Sept 2018). After the very first use, I immediately threw away all of my old glass growlers. After only a few weeks (we usually get growler fills at least twice a week), I purchased an additional Stanley Growler and a 32oz Howler kicker to keep the party going just a little longer. I’m probably going to purchase a few more as back-ups (just in case they are discontinued). I love everything about these growlers. They are super easy to clean. Usually I just rinse them out with hot when they are empty, leave the cap off overnight to dry, and they are ready to go. Sometimes, I don’t even manage that, and they just rinse at the tap house. I have hit them with a bottle brush and dishwashing liquid a few times, just to get them nice and shiny again on the inside. I have never had any issues with the growler altering the taste of the beer. They are incredibly durable…..The overbuilt 4X4 of growlers. We have taken them everywhere (picnics, camping, kayaking, ice fishing), have abused them, and they still look and preform like new. If you want to enjoy draft beer off the grid, get this growler. They permanently ride in the back of my SUV when not in use as you never know when you will run into some interesting beer. Pro tip: a milk crate and a piece of bungee cord as a divider makes for a great growler caddie. They keep beer fresh and tolerably cold for at least 48hrs (longest I’ve been able to keep beer). Pro tip: If I know that I will be storing beer for over a few hours, I will “condition” them (fill with ice water a few hours prior to filling with beer). The handle is really sturdy for both transport and pouring. The cap is secure and easy to open/close even while buzzed with gloves on and ice fishing. They look great, and are a conversation starter. Final Pro tip: Keep an eye on your growler. I don’t trust anyone at the bar around my growlers….including my friends (okay especially my friends). Just to seem partial I had to come-up with a negative, and I’m really nitpicking here. After a hot 8hour road trip along some back county roads I had a small amount of seepage from one of the growlers. It has never happened again, and I attribute it to the pressure created by the bumpy ride and I had the growler unsecured on its side (I usually try to transport them standing upright). But, the beer inside was still carbonated, fresh, cold, and delicious. If you are researching growlers for rough duty, your search is over, get the Stanley! Please do NOT fill these with water, coffee, fruit punch, soda or anything but GOOD craft beer.

Esit: After having this thing for a long time and daily use. It's awesome, absolutely awesome. Keeps water cold and ice for several days. I may actually get a larger one for summer. It's tough to, throw it in the floor of my truck all the time. Not one accident. Bought 2 one I filled a 1/4 of the way up and stuck it I freezer overnight did not freeze and I remembered it was insulated, was shocked. Filled with ice and water stiluck in freezer it turned to silolid ice. So eh - took it to work and left in truck. By 1 it was almost all melted. So - that's not fully up to claims at all but better than paying for water. The packaging is terrible - wrapped in thin paper and shipped in box. Mine had a small dent the other was fine - if water from stores wasn't more expensive than gasoline I'd send them back. All in all they are OK, they definetly don't keep ice and won't keep anything cold for over a full working day.

This growler is good for everything! Beer, yes. Water, yes. Here in arizona it keeps my Pepsi cold all day and into the next. I have two, one as a backup in case I loose one. This is the best thermos I’ve ever had !!

My water system makes great water and water is the only thing I drink. I needed a container for water to keep in my upstairs home office so I am not constantly having to go down stairs to get cold water. I considered a mini fridge but didn't want to give up office space. This is the perfect solution. Water stays cold all day - just like it was in the fridge. Even with the price tag it is still an economical solution to accessible cold water. Might even take it when I rent daily office space or visit my clients since it is also spill proof and the integrated handle makes it so easy to pour. Filled with water it weighs about 6 pounds.
