I'm going to take you to a cupboard inside my deepest innermost heart of hearts. I'm gonna open the cupboard and reveal a paper inside with the most horrifying statement about myself. Ok, are you ready? Here we go down these stairs and around this corner. Watch your head so you don't hit it on the canvas hanging there. We'll take these stairs down again. Notice how the air is turning cool and humid. Now across this empty echoing chamber. And we'll take these stone steps down into the cellars. Oops. Hope you didn't hurt yourself tripping over that mysterious chunk of wood on the floor. Ok, now it's this little wooden cupboard on the far wall. I'll light an extra candle for you so you can read. Ready? (creak, creak) Man, this cupboard door is stiff. I hardly ever open it because the shame that always rolls over me.......hold the candle a bit closer so you can read this little scrap of paper. (you, reading under your breath to yourself): "I hate Stanley Quencher tumblers because they're so awkwardly huge." With a despairing cry, "NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" you collapse on the damp stone floor forcing me to carry you up three flights of stairs to the light outside where I gently massage your hands and wave smelling salts under your nose until you moan and flutter your eyelids open. Two or three months ago I read on some very random internet article that Stanley now made Stanley slim thermoses and my heart melted inside me. The slim, tailored fit. The delicate sea green color. THE ABILITY TO UNSCREW IT OPEN FULLY TO CLEAN. Also the choice between a huge 34 oz or a reasonable 20 oz. I, who think waaaaay to much over unnecessary purchases (I could just stop thinking about it, but no, we must say but what if we DID get it?), delighted in snatching another secret look at it online and waffling between color choices. Finally I talked myself into getting one. Surely, I, a SAHM of two kids and a dog, one who must deal with 57 temper tantrums a day, can treat myself to a $30 thermos. So I clicked "Add to Cart" and after a suitable length of time for the Pony Express (pardon me, UPS) to get all the way out to the wilds of South Dakota, I received a box with my sea green 20 oz Stanley Slim. It stands on my kitchen table every day filled with water. I, who am perfectly capable, do not mind refilling it during the day to reach my water goals. I see no need to drink from huge thermoses the size of pitchers. It fits beautifully in my Explorers cup holders on the monthly excursions to the nearest town that has Walmart and Target. (I call them excursions because we're an hour away [one way] from that special town with Walmart and Target. No, I do not mind living that far away. I am and will always be a Midwest/Great Plains country girl at heart. I hate cities. [Please excuse another deep dark secret.]) The water stays cold. I've noticed a few little scratches in the color of the lid but what can you expect when you have two kids and a dog who bounce off the walls and couch all day long irregardless of their mother's precious thermos? "O, it fell to the ground when I dived onto the table to get my fruit snack that was rolling away? Mom needed something to do anyway. All she does is walk around the house carving out paths between the Legos and sofa pillows on the floor!"

I got the 20oz bottle, but really all one can use is the bottom part. I tried filling it up to the brim but it could not keep the water ice cold up to the promised 11 hours. This was when I filled the bottle with water and ice at 1AM and woke up at 8AM with a bottle full of tepid water. Read in the comments that someone noticed the sweat in the top part of the bottle and it probably wasn't double insulated. The next time, I filled it only up to the top of the bottom part and woke up 8hrs or so later still with large chunks of ice. Not a dealbreaker for me because I tend to refill many times a day. I am giving my Pomelo quencher a break. Despite a few cons, don't hesitate to pick up one or two. I like that I can tip the bottle without water spilling down my shirt, unlike when I chug from my quenchers (because I don't like to use a straw). So PROS: ice friendly, nice color palette, 2 sizes to choose from, easy to clean, lightweight for ease in portability (not sure if this is aerolight), great construction and design And CONS, you can't fill it up to the brim / use the 20 oz. Ice water will turn tepid in maybe 5 hours. But fill it up to the top of the bottom part, water stays iced/ice cold for longer. Still a great bottle despite the cons. Am getting a few more for myself.

It's simple, clean, and fits in my car, purse, etc. The screw top to allow for ice combined with the smaller mouth opening is great functionality, plus it stays well insulated! Many people have asked me about it, and seem to be interested in getting one of their own.

Great bottle, awesome insulation. Super functional especially putting in a work bag - don’t have to worry about anything spilling. And, easy for use however you want since the top screws odd. Definitely leak proof. The top portion is not sweat proof though.

The bottle looks great, but the middle part isn't insulated, cold water makes a lot of condensation and makes drops of water fall to whatever surface it's on. The cap is REALLY hard to open and close, not sure why this is, Out of the box, the cap was easy to open but after a week it became really hard to open/close. And The bottle is too large to fit in both of my cars' cupholders, the small bottom part does fit, but the rest doesn't. It won't be held in place, I'll go flying as soon as I start drivjng. It would probably fit in a a big truck cupholder will probably, but not any car.

I bought the 40oz in Rose Quartz… very pretty pale pink/mauve and I love the contrast in texture and tone between the two pieces. However, this does NOT fit in the cup holder in my car (2019 Volvo XC90). That’s a major fail. I have not had any leaking issues and LOVE not having to track down a straw or get too large of gulp from a larger opening (top is the same size as a bottle of soda).

I was looking for a water bottle to take on a trip with me. I own many Stanley thermoses and knew the quality I would get so I decided to purchase this one. Money well spent. The bottle is easy to use. It kept my water cold for many hours. I love this thing and take it with me. I will say that if you add ice and fill the bottle up, it will sweat and you’ll have to deal with a bit of condensation but it pales in comparison with all the pros this bottle has to offer.
