I like the size of the cup so I always have water to drink while at work. I also like that it fits in my cup holder in the car. I don’t always put ice in it, but when I do, it’s stays cold through my work day. I can’t say that it lives up to the hours stated in the description though. It is not leak proof because there is a hole where the straw goes, so if you tilt it, it will leak. See photo. For the person who said it is for left handed people only - this is not true. It depends on where you start to twist the top onto the cup. Start it on the backend with the handle to your right and twist it on and the handle will be set for your right hand. Love the grapefruit color. They are also fairly heavy when filled with ice and water. They are a bit pricey for what they are, but I don’t regret buying it.

The media could not be loaded. 40oz and fits in the cup holder, what more could you ask for!? The top has a swivel, so you can sip from the cup or a straw. It does come with a hard plastic straw which I did not like, so for a while I sipped from the cup, but turning up 40oz is a bit much, so I ordered the silicone straw you see in the video from Amazon (purifyou brand), and that made it perfect. I love this neutral color, the sturdy handle, and the fact that it fits in my cars cup holder (VW Jetta). It also keeps my water cold even when I leave it in the 113 degree super hot car for a while. If you’re looking for something to hold a lot of ounces that will travel well, I recommend this cup!

I needed something thermal with a handle due to arthritis in my hands because holding a large Yeti was proving impossible. This Stanley tumbler has been fantastic. First, I love the finish on it. It is not slippery. The handle makes it much easier for me to hold as well. The lid screws in instead of just pushing in so no leaks! And boy does it hold the cold! I will still have my original ice machine size ice cubes (less than 1"x1" size cube) 36 hours later! And it fits in the cupholder of my car! I have used it for hot as well and it holds the heat almost as well as it holds the cold. I nearly burned myself on hot tea that wasn't cooling down as it does in a tea cup or mug. Great product!

Public opinion is accurate. This purchase can save you hundreds on convenience and fast food drink purchases. It keeps ice for hours, even in strong sun so the fridge ice maker and trays can get some rest. The included straw is a little short so I purchased silicone straws. The Stanley will leak if tipped so a carry bag that fits in your console or hangs from the head rest are good accompanying purchases.

First of all, I had to give two stars for "leak proof" because it comes with a straw. There is no way using this that any product could be leak proof. Of course, if the straw is removed and the hole sealed, it will not leak. But I think to judge "leakiness" in this type of design is misleading. The outside is very sturdy and the insulation is great! It keeps liquids cold or hot for hours. I especially like the fact that it is 40 oz. so I can easily monitor my water intake. Also, I like that the very bottom is flared in, so it will fit in a car's cup holder (unlike other mugs). It is well worth the money.

I hate to admit it but I was influenced to buy this cup. I hadn’t seen it on social media but a few people I know had it and I was feeling envious of the handle and the fact that they had a 40 oz cup. I decided to get this driftwood color on amazon vs buying the new 2.0 model at Stanley’s website bc I loved the color. The cup is awesome in that it holds so much water so it lasts a few hours. The ice really does stay overnight and it keeps my water cold. I’ve ran the lid and straw through the dishwasher with no issues but I do hand wash the cup. My favorite part is the handle bc it’s easy to tote around. You can adjust the lid either way so it’s great for left handed and right handed people to carry! Do you need this cup? No lol but if you’re contemplating it I say why not?! I like it better than my Yeti 30 oz due to the handle. This fits in my cup holders and I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee. It also fits in the peloton cup holders like good enough that it doesn’t fall out while I’m riding.
