Perfect fit! Someone said the opening wasn't wide enough for their curtain rod and I don't think this is possible if you are using the largest opening on the curtains which gives you a 3" and if not 3" close to 3" opening. I didn't take the time to measure. Our curtain rod is a big chunky guy lol because we have a large window and I got a heavy duty one. I purchased the 62x84 because we again do have a large window and you do receive 2 panels so that makes it 124 inch width for our window. I measured the window myself and it's at least 108" maybe a few inches more as is is hard to measure a window solo with help of a young child so I was being cautious as I prefer more material to bunch it and make it look more fancy. I mean technically I could have went with a little smaller width but I wouldn't have been satisfied with how it would look. More material is better. This is perfect! It goes to floor and maybe a half an inch over which is exactly what I wanted. I actually expected it would be an inch or two too long but I also used the bottom opening so I could have it the shorter of the two lengths and needed the largest opening because I used a large rod. If you want to know if I have any complaints. Not really but I can nit pick for you. The curtains aren't black out but they are close enough. I got the taupe and they are the color advertised but when light shines through a little bit, they can have a tinted peachy taupe color. LOL. I do NOT have blinds behind mine and I'm sure if they did they would probably be black out because they are close enough. I do however do have some thin white sheer curtains behind mine. This way when I open the curtains up slightly, they look really fancy and elegant. Lastly for nit picking. They do have several wrinkles, I'm hoping will work out but it's hard to see most of them from a distance. I haven't steam ironed the back yet but I will if I need to. I inherited this home about 6 months ago and the house was built in the 70s and is immaculate however very dated and the old curtains were immaculate and HEAVY. They were also custom made so I hated wanting to replace them but I didn't like the look of them. I wanted quality curtains but with a updated and traditional twist. I looked for some a month ago and was going to pay $120 for a set. I honestly didn't want to have to pay that much for curtains so I was nervous about these. I'm actually glad I purchased these and have absolutely no real complaints with them. In fact I didn't expect them to be as heavy as they are. I picked up the Amazon box and was shocked at the weight. I ordered some curtains on Amazon years back for our old house and they weren't velvet but they were blackout fully and very nice. They weren't near as heavy as these ones. All in all, I definitely recommend them.

I originally bought these curtains to help insulate my room against my 100 year old single pane windows. I left them up all year because they look so elegant. The color has not faded, even with the Texas sun beating down on my east and south facing windows. However, they are definitely not blackout curtains. I'm not even sure I would consider them thermal but they do the job I purchased them for. I have purchased 10 panels and I will be getting more.

Here is how this compared: Overall ranking: High Length: accurate to 90" Fabric color: a neutral-warm green (as opposed to a cool green); front is cooler-toned with more blue than the back, which is solidly olive green Fabric weight: heavy Fabric quality: Not the highest quality velvet on amazon; you can see the tracks/threading/weave up close, but it is higher quality than the lowest-end curtains on Amazon Back color: back fabric matches the front (some curtains have darker fabric) Blackout (Y/N): No Width availability: 62" available (52" standard) I recommend this curtain. I ended up going with this one as a room divider for a studio apartment. After steaming, it looks much more expensive than it was.
