I purchased these two stainless steel tumblers for something other than what they are intended for...and they are working perfectly for that purpose. The only downside (and star reduction), the shiny bands on the top of each are noticeably different widths. For what I'm using them for that does not matter, but this "may" be an issue for some.     • I wish it was made in USA but almost perfect..
I tried my very best to find a USA made stainless steel drinking cup but I failed. However I did write to StainlessLUX on several occasions with questions. They were great to deal with and were prompt with their replies. I was looking for ss cups for my bathroom since I have lots of company during the summer months. I feel a bit like Goldilocks and the three bears as I found the 8 ounce a bit small, the 12 a bit large and the 10 ounce just right. But this design is a bit plain. (I did like the old design but it is no longer being manufactured. However the wider base does supply a bit more stability. The double walled cup is a bit smoother for those that found the single walled cup "sharp" at the lip area, I had no such issues. Well packaged and good quality so until I find USA made SS cups I will recommend StainlessLUX and their very good customer service. ... show more

We bought these cops as starter big girl cups for our daughters now that we are transitioning them off sippy cups. My wife wanted metal once since she's worried about plastic in the girl's diet and these fit the bill. They work well and are of good construction quality. I am so happy with these. The quality is excellent and the design is quite attractive. Mu husband loves them as well. I love that they are not plastic (toxic and non-biodegradable) and not glass (breakable - we have young children). The only downside is that when you put ice in them from the ice-maker, it's loud enough to wake the dead. Still, very pleased with them. I just wish they offered the same design in a taller drinking glass as well. ... show more

    • Perfect size for toddlers but too sharp for anyone to drink from...
Perfect size for toddlers except the rims are too sharp for toddlers. These are double-walled so the rim is the fold-over and hammered sharp, the craftsmanship of the set I received was poor and I was afraid to use it let alone for my toddler to use as it was intended for. I was a bit disappointed since I was so impressed with craftsmanship of another StainlessLUX product. I had to return these, the size was definitely perfect for toddlers, a little on the heavy side but if you are lucky enough to get a set where the rim is not so sharp, these would be great but I doubt you will due to the design - definitely a design flaw. ... show more

These are great for a water cup in the bathroom. Last week I dropped a small glass into the bathroom sink and it shattered and sprayed. I vowed to change to all stainless steel in the bathroom for safety. These are perfect!
