‘16 Jeep Wrangler JK - This is a must have for anyone with factory hood latches. I had a semi go by me on a two-lane road and I thought I was gonna lose my hood as soon as I got home I found these online recommended by a friend and ordered them. I never felt the hood flutter again with these latches, excellent quality adjustable and the color is perfect. Much better than original. Great build quality.

Easy to install and they are almost the same Jeep JL color. Close but not the same. The one thing I don’t like is the way the unlatched part swings down and bangs on the painted finder. Now have dings on both finders!!!

These really look good and finally stopped the hood flutter at higher speeds on the interstate. They were just a little challenging to get to the nuts for the latch side but that does not affect my review of the latches since that’s a Jeep engineering issue. These are very easy to get them adjusted to the proper firmness. They remind you in the instructions to keep the stock little rubber bumpers and reuse for this install. Overall was an easy project and look great! Secret is to get a 1/4 ratchet without the socket, slide it in the little slot of an area to access the nut and then bring it up face up and attach your socket to it. That’s how I did it. Then you have to reverse that to remove your socket wrench from the Jeep. Excellent value and a good look.
