The latch is beautiful workmanship. The rubber bumpers are to small so the hood does not sit on the rubber Piece. Not like stock the rubber raises up on the lip of the inner fender and hold the mood in place with the correct hood gap. The new rubber falls short and the hood connects with the metal inner fender. NOT GOOD. Need a Fix for this. I added some rubber for now but need to get this worked out ... show more

Much better looking than stock. They are adjustable after you install. This is great so that you don't have to worry about having that "flutter". You'll need an open-ended wrench to install and I used needlenose pliers to hold nut in place since it's a tight fit.

I've been looking for a set like these for a while but didn't want to spend $100+ on them. I had a hood latch fail me over the weekend and these were reasonably priced and shipped overnight. So I got them. The bases are a little tricky to install, but they seem really sturdy. I love the look.

    • Doesn't fit my JL too well.
I love how cool these look but the driver side pin will not go through the second hole. There is no wiggle room whatsoever.

    • Does Anyone Know The Size of The Two Screws?
One of my screws came out and I'm looking to just replace the screw (without having to take the other latch off to compare). I dont see the size of the screws in the specs or anything. overall I'm happy with the latches thus far. the only issues ive had is the screw coming out but, that is my fault.

Be careful when you go to mount them. The lock nuts are adjustable and you need to be patient with them fitting. Keeps the hood of my Jeep from wobbling around and is nice and secure. Could even get the lock pins to make it even harder after the bearings in the lock pin give up and wiggle out. Solid build and worth the purchase to me. ... show more
