Description

Have rough running or surging small engine equipment? This additive was designed specifically to treat small engines having a little trouble running. The fuel system cleaners go to work right away to start eating away at gum and varnish that causes rough starts, or no starts. Ethanol blended fuels are no worries with this formula as Fast Fix will help keep the fuel system clean. Everything from the tank to the carburetor or injectors will be cleaned out when using Fast Fix. This product prevents the need of having to take your small engine to a shop or having to disassemble the engine. This formula is compatible with all gasoline small engine equipment. Just pour in the tank and be on your way. The 4oz bottle will treat 10 gallons of gas and the 8oz bottle will treat 20 gallons.

I have a craftsman R110. All of a sudden each time I engaged the blade it would sputter and backfire. The smell of gas was r pretty strong. I mixed this a bit stronger based on other reviews. I let it run 15 minutes and tried to engage the blade but it started to sputter again. I just filled the tank and let it run an hour. Came back out and engaged thee blade with no sputtering. If your equipment is dogging it a bit and just not winding up like it used to, put a splash of this in the tank and take it out for a good long run. After you burn at least half the tank if not all of it, you should actually notice that your equipment has gotten its pep back and it is acting like a youngster again. Several of my customers as well as myself have noticed a need to retune and slow down the equipment just a tad after using this product, it really cleans out and open the passages in the carb. I have had to slow down some equipment by as much as 1000rpm. I first thought that this product was just making the gas zippier but when fresh gas is put in the tank and the equipment continues to run much better that is a pretty good indicator to me that something has changed, and sometimes not always it may need to be turned down a tad. As with any equipment do your best to keep it operating within the manufacturers recommend RPM range, this will just prolong the life of your equipment. (Note: Always do the preventative maintenance on your equipment to give it the best shot at a long life and best possible run conditions.) ... show more

I got this mower curbside. It would hit on starter spray only. Rebuilt carb and mower fired right up but it struggled to get a smooth rpm plus I could hear a low knocking sound also. I thought bad motor no problem I have extra engine to swap it with. I tried Fast fix as a lark. Poured a easy ounce of Fast Fix into a very low level of gas in mower. Clamped the bail to keep it running and walked away for at least 15 mins. Checked back and you could still hear knock and stumbling rpms. Walked away for another 5 minutes and came back to a absolutely smooth running mower and the mysterious knock is gone also. Unbelievable results . This is a electric start mower that should bring me good money. ... show more

I have a Ryobi pressure washer that would only run with the choke closed. I looked at several You Tube videos and found one that just involved removing the gas bowel and cleaning out the main jet. I did that and it would run with the choke open, except it didn't run well. I then used some Sta-Bil Fast Fix in the gas and within four minutes. it started running like new. Surprise surprise... There are a lot of additives out there that only seem to subtract from your wallet. My lawn tractor had been bogging down a little coming up our hill out back. This is even with super fresh gas. I put this stuff in, ran it for about 10 minutes and then let it sit. When I used it the next day I was amazed at the difference. I had a generac gp3300i that was shuddering and running rough. I changed the spark plug, cleaned the air filter and spark arrestor, drained fuel and added fresh and it was still running rough. I added fresh fuel with this additive and it was running strong within a few minutes. Definitely try this stuff before you clean the carb. ... show more

SO THANKFUL for Amazon reviewers!! I bought this item (small bottle from Wally Mart) based solely on Amazon reviews I deemed trustworthy. I've only used in push lawn mowers behind a never ending saga of despair regarding (several - far too many - mowers) since moving to New England. No gas stabilizer, winterizing, storage concerns are needed where I'm from. Mowers never get "stored" in the south... Sta-Bil first used in a 7.0HP Craftsman (take no prisoners) mower. I'd been religiously adding Seafoam Gas Stabilizer with every tank full of gas per first owner's recommendation, but mower started to choke within a year. I'd been religiously changing oil and filters, as well as adding the gas stabilizer since ownership. Sta-bil was a literal, immediate "shot in the arm" for the mower's performance. I bought this large bottle from Amazon (cheaper than Wally) for my 'new', very expensive Toro mower, also purchased used (from big box store). The oil, air filter, and blade were pristine, so I assumed caurberator and gas filter had been maintained as well. I still experienced what I sensed was some sort of hesitation (blockage) in cranking and performance. I'd been adding Seafoam to each gas fill per the advice given from Craftsman owner. I added Sta-Bil to Toro the day it arrived from Amazon.... Wow. What a difference. Immediate. Paid a nail biting price for the used mower. Beat myself up behind the decision until adding Sta-Bil. It literally made the purchase 500% worthwhile. Can only thank previous posters, and wish future buyers the same results. ... show more

Had an edger wouldn't start. Poured an ounce of this in and let it sit a few hours. Came back and it started. My riding mower was surging and while running I put a couple ounces in the tank.
