I enjoy making jewelry from epoxy resin, just for myself for fun. This assortment of eight different colors of jewelry hardware is very useful for finishing that jewelry. Each of the eight different sets consists of matching colors of 10 ft. chain, 10 lobster clasps, and 30 jump rings. The links of the chain are surprisingly strong. It would be great if the jump rings were of multiple sizes – as the ones included are not large enough to go through the holes of pendants unless the pendants are very thin. (I needed to provide my own larger jump rings to accommodate the epoxy resin pendants I created.) This set is also great for repairing broken jewelry. Overall I am pleased with the product.

This set is perfect for anyone starting out in making jewelry. You get 8 different color chains and 8 matching lobster claw clasps. You will get matching small jump rings. You should get 8 packets to match the chain and lobster claws. I received 7 instead of 8 which is why I took off 1 star in my review. This would have been a 5-star review if not for the 1 missing item. It is still a good value as its sometimes difficult to match some colors of chain to the clasp and jump rings.

I love the amount of chain included, as well as the variety. There really aren't enough findings if you plan to make a lot of different items, but there's enough to get me started on a few projects. I love making personalized jewelry and using chain as accent pieces on keychains and earrings to spice things up. With this, I have plenty of chain to work with, as well as color variety. The chain is lightweight. The links are a big wider and larger than I use for most of my jewelry, but I think that it can all be used just fine. It's just a bit of a different look than what I usually go for. The price makes this an easy purchase for me. I always like having extra chain on hand and this gives me a ton to work with. Plus, the color variety. How long will the color coatings last? I don't know, but I'll find out in a few months. I wouldn't expect to make a 'fine jewelry' look with these chains. I do plan to avoid water, excessive sweat while wearing. The metal is lightweight. The chain varieties do have more of a 'youthful' look to them like I've seen on trendier, fashion jewelry, which is fine with me. I would buy again. This is a steal for so much variety and product that I can create a ton of stuff with.

I make jewelry for elementary school children and this chain kit is just what I need. Especially since there are several colors of chain, as naturally each child has totally different taste from their friends. And even if they like the same things/colors they all want their piece of jewelry to be a little different from everyone else's. Having so many choices of colors of chains makes that job much easier to accomplish. The chain is delicate but strong enough to withstand what the children might put it through. It's also a plus to have the matching colored jump rings and lobster clasps included with each roll of chain. I have all the basics of what I need in the right colors at a reasonable, affordable price. I consider this a good buy.

I make a lot of necklaces and use a variety of materials - resin, dominos, broken dishes, etc. - for the pendants and previously only had gold-ish and silver-ish chains to work with. This set provides eight different colors - so nice to now have some copper and some rose-gold to work with as well as a few others. I'm especially happy that the closures included are the the lobster-claw variety. I find these easier to open than the the circle closures - I also think they bump the style up a notch. Chains seem to be sturdy and I'm happy with this set.

My friends and I decided to have an anklet making party, so this was the perfect set! There was more than enough of each chain color for us to be able to make whatever we wanted. The clasps were easy to put on, and simple jump rings are all we needed to add charms.
