I’ve never bought a squishmallow but I’ve used some of my friends when I would hang at their house occasionally. I bought the 20 inch avocado bc I wanted a standard sized Squishmallow to replace one that was slowly crushed flat over 2 years use as a throw pillow. I didn't know exactly how big the standard size is, but this thing is at least twice as large as a standard one! It's so big that I think it would be unsafe for a kid under maybe 10 years to sleep with bc of the risk of suffocation. It works great as a jumbo xl pillow to use on the couch or semi reclined in bed, even if it does look a little ridiculous. ... show more

Okay so I didn’t buy this for a child, I bought it for myself when I have migraines and I can’t find anything else that feels soft enough to lay my head on.
