  • Great bass!
Color: Charcoal Frost Metallic
Great bass for the value. Needed some setup upon arrival, but sounds really, really good and feels good too.

  • Impressive bass for the price.
Color: Burgundy Mist
I was really impressed with everything about this bass for the price. I've purchased other instruments in this price range and they needed a lot of work but this just needed a set up and I'll probably dress a few frets at some point. The finish was good, the hardware is solid, and the electronics are not bad and it has a bit of that mid range jazz bass growl. It's a bit neck heavy though so I'd definitely recommend something like a good suede strap. Overall a fantastic buy for the money. ... show more

  • Great bass at an excellent price
Color: Black
I was skeptical buying a bass online, but was nicely surprised. Right out of the box, this bass was almost perfectly set up and ready to play. The fit and finish are what you'd expect from Fender. Although there was no shipping damage, I've ordered kitchen sponges from Amazon that arrived with better packaging, which concerned me. Still, a nice-looking and sounding bass - very comfortable and playable. Excellent buy. ... show more

  • Great beginner bass
Color: Charcoal Frost Metallic
I'm completely new to bass guitars, but I wanted something to get the ball rolling with learning how to play, so I got this. The bass I received definitely needed adjustments to the saddles, truss rod, etc. but after adjusting, my bass is buzz free and sounds great!

  • Great for the money
Color: Charcoal Frost Metallic
Honestly no complaints, and I've been playing for over 20 years. Just needs a setup.

  • Better than expected. :)
Color: Burgundy Mist
I can't find anything wrong with this bass. Nearly perfect. I love the light weight. There was a delay in the shipping, but that was due to the USPS. Very Happy with this bass.

  • great bass
Color: Black
this bass is perfect for beginners and pros, the bass tone is perfect and it’s almost perfect enough to play out the box but the string height action is to low and makes the strings buzz when you play but it’s an easy fix. so it’s very good basically out the box

  • Squire needs to work on quality control
Color: Charcoal Frost Metallic
Squire should really hire some better quality control people. The packaging was sturdy and well padded. The box had zero damage yet the bass itself had a scuffed corner, a divot that the paint will eventually chip out of about the size of a pencil eraser, and scuffed plastic on the pickups. Squire clearly takes no care in the products they are sending out. Other than that the bass is awesome. Sounds great, looks great (outside of previous mentionings), and is a good weight and feel. Overall I really like it. I understand it isn't the most expensive bass out there but it be nice to come in not dinged up from the start. ... show more
