  • Excellent guitar
Color: Candy Apple Red Size: Full
I own a number of high quality Fender guitars so I was skeptical if this was going to meet my expectations. It not only did that it went beyond what I thought was possible for an instrument in this price range. The fretwork is excellent and the neck is as straight as a die. I was able to lower the action way down without any fret buzz making it easily playable anywhere on the fret-board. I love the color and the overall finish is AAA+. I have no idea if these guitars are produced consistently, maybe I got lucky but I would highly recommend this instrument not only to any player with a budget but to anyone who likes fine guitars. ... show more

  • Well made, good value.
Color: 3-Color Sunburst Size: Full
This one I am keeping. I have purchased other guitars with semi hollow jazz style design. I have gotten rid of all of them, mostly because of feed back and tunning issues. I did spend a lot of time getting the action to my liking. At first I thought I would not be able to accomplish this but I got it. I was tempted to buy the classic vibe model because I already have one in 50's tele, which I really like. However, I really like the simplicity of design on the affinity model in spite of some of the bad reviews I have seen. Did not really find them on this guitar. The neck set up was a bit of a challenge but I got there. I also own an American made tele and strat. Nothing plays as easy or as well as those. This one poses a good competitor at a really substantially lower cost and it is really pretty, The pups are not the greatest but still really ok and I can refine the tone with my modeling style amp. I truly enjoy playing this guitar. ... show more

  • High quality guitar for the money. It was greater than my expectations

  • Nice for the price but pickups too hot
Color: Candy Apple Red Size: Full
This is a well made guitar for the money. Plays very nice. However for the style of the guitar, the pickups do not seem like a good fit. They are Humbuckers pickups, which give a hard rock/ metal tone. The Guitar output needs To be dialed way down to get the tone less distorted. I’m sure these pickups are what the original 70’s issue of the guitar model had. But I’d expect a semi-hollow body tho have more jazz or blues friendly pickups. Not a huge deal. Just beware of this when selecting guitars. Made in Indonesia ... show more

  • Great model, poorly made !!
Color: Olympic White Size: Full
This guitar is beautiful!!! Extremely pretty for the price. The model I got however was awful, extremely poor construction. Not only cosmetics but the neck can't be played. See the pictures! These are all the issues I found: - Frets are lifting from the fretboard! At least 5 are lifting, with 2 creating significant fretbuzz. I discovered this while setting the action low, can't be done, can't be played! Worse thing is they tried to mask by filling the frets, some are super flat already. -The F holes finish is awful, there are chunks of the white paint. I wasn't expecting a nice finish but this is just a bad job. This could be fixed and I don't think any guitar below $500 will have a properly finished F holes, but this is too much. -Neck pocket finish isn't properly finished. Also note that the black binding isn't a real binding, it is just paint. Looks nice tho! This is my first time buying a guitar online, this one is out of stock at my local shops. Overall nice guitar, I will return this one and order another one to see if I have better luck. ... show more

  • good starter jazz guitar - with a removable neck
Color: 3-Color Sunburst Size: Full
The guitar was working fine out of the box. Then I started upgrading it, by adding a trapeze tie-down, roller bridge and swapped the neck to a 3l and 3r, to increase the sustain and lower the string tension.
