I'm only doing this review because the price is too good to be true. Well let me tell you. The product is actually pretty good. I just received my set in the mail. It did come with 1 broken weight plate as shown in the 2nd picture. If you have any plate slippage check for broken pieces! I'm reaching out to the manufacturer to get a replacement but other than that these things work like they should. Just be gentle with them. Don't drop them or slam them in the cradle. I believe they'll last a long time. I also purchased asurions $35 2 yr warranty for extra coverage. I hope this review helps. UPDATE: I reached out to the manufacturer for the broken plate and they replied to me within 24 hours. I was sent 1 extra dumbbell for free and they told me I could keep my old one to avoid shipping costs. I've used these dumbbells for a few days now and I'm still happy with my purchase.

The box came today and every bit of packing inside was smashed up. The box packing, weights, and rack look like it had been dropped more than once, like many times. There is so much damage to the plates, the handle assembly, and the rack that this dumbbell is completely not usable. Look through the photos wish includes a list of the broken parts. Hopefully I can get the replacement parts and get this in proper working order. EDIT: The manufacturer has replaced what was damaged during shipping. To be clear, the dumbbells, I got a set in two shipments, are outstanding and work great!!! Back to the damage though; Stuff happens, but the manufacturer responded to and remedied the situation faster than I could ever expect. It was quite impressive and I'm very thankful for it, as my time and energy is very valuable and I had to expend just enough to get the information to them to fix the problem. There were no jumping through hoops or other time-consuming obstacles to navigate. This is a case where the customer service justifies the premium for the product. Cheers to anyone else who picks up one or more of these adjustable dumbbells/dumbbell sets!

Bought and received them at the start of August. Here are a few tid bits. Packaging: very good. The weights come in a clam shell of Styrofoam and inside a cardboard box. No damage to the items or the packaging. Initial looks: they look really good. The mechanism that rotates the weights works well. Notches into each spot so you get that positive connection. The base works, but it is just a couple of metal bars and plastic ends. Weights: haven't put them on a scale yet, but they do feel about right when holding and lifting. Will drag put the scale and weigh them to see accuracy. Started lifting with them and when locked into the weight desired, they feel solid and have no qualms of lifting over my head. Concerns: website. You get a notice in the packaging to register your product online. You go there and there is no way to register. They don't even list the product on the website. This was on 8/4/23. The plastic on the weights: this will be a point that wears out over time. Since they don't list the product on the website, if these plastic bits break...you/me might be S.O.L. Update 11/9/23 There is a little bit of wiggle from the weights. Not sure if it is any worse from what I remember but it's there. And 1 side definitely wiggles more than the other. The weights themselves are about 1 pound heavier than the listed number. Which is ok for me. I am still using them every week and very much enjoying them

Excellent dumbbell set. Easy to use. 70lbs in one compact unit. Works well. Easy to change between weights. Comfortable grip. Feels secure while in use. Much better looking than many of the other similar option out there. Great form factor. As good as it gets for the price. I have tried several other similar dumbbells, and this this set from Squatz far exceeds any of the others out there.
