Yes the laser is useless unless shooting at night or indoors. Yes the slingshot is made of composite plastic. But the sights are surprisingly accurate you get 5 extra bands and a belt holster all for 10$. That's a great value just buy this and toss the laser.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: It seemed more accurate, functional and strong seeing the videos. It is very weak and the sight does not connect to the handle. The sight's connection is round the slot on the handle is square.

Bought in may, used for maybe a couple of hundred shots between then and now, on of the arms just broke off a pice, only a half gripping onto the band on that side, don't know how for how long it'll serve, if at all. Gave it two stars for the time i had it whole, worked pretty well though the power is overstated. For durability i have to give it zero stars. ... show more

    • What a product, No expensive gun ranges! Slingshots easy, fun to use, accurate upto about 30 yards.

If you like target shooting, but don't like expenses involved with the high ammo costs, as well as, facilities cost at ranges, this is what you've been looking far! Super inexpensive. I'd suggest getting proficient at 10' to 20' first; and, then, look to extend out to 100'. I made a target with a rear metal plate to let me know that I hit the target. Saves ammo too, since it can be immediately be reused. By the way, if some varmits get in your attic, shoot moth balls into the far reaches. They hate it, and they'll be gone almost immediately! ... show more
