  • A Handy Little Tool That Made Swapping My Watch Bands Way Easier....And I am Loving it A Handy Little Tool That Made Swapping My Watch Bands Way Easier....And I am Loving it
I grabbed this spring bar pin remover because I was getting tired of taking my watch to the shop every time I wanted to switch between my rubber strap and the leather one. I figured it would be nice to do it myself, but I was kinda worried I would scratch something or mess up the pins. Turns out this tool made the whole process way smoother than I thought it would. Right out of the box it feels solid. Not heavy, but not that cheap plasticy feel either. The tip is shaped just right to get into the tiny space between the lugs without slipping all over the place. I tried it first on my rubber strap since that one is usually easier, and it popped the spring bar out clean with barely any pressure. No slipping, no scratching, no panic moment where you think the pin is gonna fly across the room. Then I tried it on my leather strap which is usually a bit tighter, and it still worked great. The tool gives you enough control to push the bar in without digging into the strap. I messed up a bit on the first try and the tool slipped, but even then it didnt leave a mark on the watch case. That alone made me feel way better about using it. The grip is comfy too. I used it for a while swapping a few different straps just to test it out and my hand didnt get tired or cramped. The metal tip feels sturdy and doesnt bend even when you push a little harder. I also like that the tool is small enough to toss in a drawer or a travel pouch without taking up space. One thing I really liked is how precise it feels. You can feel the spring bar move when you press it, so you know exactly when it is ready to slide out. I used to struggle with cheap tools that would slip or bend, but this one feels like it gives you actual control. I even used it to adjust a bracelet link and it handled that fine too. ... show more
