The card graphics are very adorable with each pooch having their identifier. Strategy and luck combine as you analyze your best moves versus your players and hope the dice are in your favor. Once you become comfortable with the base, then you can expand into the not complicated options. The rules are sometimes a little hard to interpret, so some of them only become clear after a play or two.

Took a risk on this one and it really exceeded expectations! First of all the production is super. The art and design style is so fun and delightful. And the cardboard is really nice quality. Love that there are a trillion "trick" cards. What great variety that they did not have to include. I play this a lot with my 5.5 year old and so we have only used the starter 6 trick cards so far but there are a ton more (3x that amount?) left to explore. And I like that some are more complex and might be fun when playing with just adults. The gameplay is great. Quick turns and just fun rolling the dice and pushing your luck. But it's not a simple dice chucker and push your luck game at all. You have lots of choices and things to weigh when deciding how to proceed with your turn. It's really fun. Highly recommend to play with your kids but also would be a good light filler for adults. This game I appreciate more with each play. Excellent design and product.

I purchased this to play solo and I really enjoy it! The small box would make it a great game to travel with. It’s also very easy to learn. Fun artwork and the components are great quality, I just really like this game.

This is my favorite dice game. The highlights for me are: * The dog cards are a delightful way to collect your dice. Each time I get a new dog, I'm excited. * The push your luck element is well executed without being punishing. You have options to roll again with the bones. * The games comes with enough actions cards that keep the game fresh play after play. * Best of all, it truthfully only takes 5 minutes to explain, and games are almost always less than 30 minutes. Caveats: * I'd say the age rating of 10+ is a little high. We've played with younger kids (6 - 8), and they have fun. They might not be able to guess the odds quickly, but they compensate by collecting the bones to use so they can roll again when needed. * It's best with 2 - 3 players. 4 is fun, but there's a bit of waiting between turns if you're playing with someone indecisive. I hope they come up with a way to scale it up to 6 players.

A fun game for 2-4 people, and especially so for those who like dogs. The game instructions are easy to read, the cards and dog bones are cute - it’s quick to learn, and a fast moving game. A great addition to our game collection.

My wife and I love to play a game after dinner and good games for 2 is slim pickens. The first time I played with 4 and it was great fun, the last two weeks my wife and I have played it almost every night after dinner- best of 3 wins! It’s awesome having the different “trick cards” because it makes every game unique, eliminates the boring repetition.

We just got this game today, and I’m honestly addicted! We have over 100 board games all styles and play types, but I was looking for a dice game and this is perfect and simple! It’s a fast pace game that would be great for traveling because it’s not to big and easy to learn if playing with friends or family. It’s super cute even my two year old was hanging out rolling dice while we played.
