A while back, we rented a loft in what used to be Chicago's Meatpacking District. The area is nothing but fancy schmancy restaurants and such now, but when we rented it was still being gentrified. Translation: still some meat processing plants, and plenty of jumbo sized rats. One day I was walking our dog early in the morning and saw some green meat in a trolley being pushed buy a gentleman in a blood-stained white coat. I asked him what it was and he explained that when meat goes really bad, it's dusted with disinfectant and sold as pet food. So, that's why human grade ingredients are important when it comes to pet food and treats! All four of our furry Clan go crazy for these. They are easy to break in half for the little ones. When you open the bag, they smell fresh, nothing icky or nasty. If you don't have the time or inclination to make your own dog treats from fresh meat, these are nice option. ... show more

We own a 3 year old, male Toy Fox Terrier who is very sweet but is picky with food due to a weaker stomach than most dogs- his belly will get upset by many conventional dog treats & at times he won't eat anything... That is how it had been until we discovered spot farms & their fantastic line of top grade treats! Bandit (our dog) will eat these jerky treats no matter how uninterested he is in all other food/treats & because they're human grade treats, they do not upset his belly like many others do. We like the 🐔 ones because he eats chicken kibble as well, but he also will eat pretty much any other treat made by spot farms without any issues either. These treats are REALLY worth every penny in my view- they taste great to my picky dog, they do not upset his belly & you can tell they're a "cut above" most other jerky style treats as they smell like many types of jerky I've eaten myself. Especially for a picky eater, but really for every dog owner, these are probably the best line of supplemental feeding products we've come across in our 3 years with our dog .🐕 He & I therefore highly recommend these. ... show more

I had a minor issue with a product and contacted Spot Farms. I cannot tell you how overwhelmed I was with their awesome response! They totally stand by their product which my two small dogs just love! It is human grade and that is good in itself so that after you handle it, you do not have to run to the sink to wash your hands, and you can be sure if it is safe for humans, it is more that great for dogs. Anyway, all in all, their products are wonderful and have a delicious aroma even for humans to smell! Their customer service is superior. What more could a pet owner want. Chase has a particular taste and he loves the Chicken Strips with Flaxseeds. I purchased 2 bags in January for I believe $42 dollars. Recently 1 bag which isn’t a lot was $48 dollars ⁉️ And not available. This is a great product and Chase loves them but I’m not spending that kind of money! That’s why I gave the 1 star value, had the price stayed the same or at least reasonable I would buy it again and give it all Five Stars!
