My 11/13 yr olds have started showing an interest in working out with me. We do not have enough of the smaller dumbbells so I ordered these to add to our collection so we all have the correct sizes. They seem comfortable to use, accurate weight/size and then the stand isn't super sturdy but definitely great enough to hold our dumbbells and it won't be moved frequently so it shouldn't be a problem. I ordered this set of light weights to organize my home exercise area. They have a nice neoprene feel to them, are pretty colors, and can easily be moved out of the way in an exercise area on a room in our home. I was tired of ad hoc weights with no stand, which were not easy to find/organize in our house. The stand came with no directions for installation but it was intuitive and took 5 minutes or less to assemble. I started a workout program and needed weights for some of the routines. I found this product and read the reviews and was sold. I have never owned dumbbells before and didn't really know what to look for to buy them. I love the good great feel on them. The stand was as easy as 1-2-3 to assemble! The only issue I had with assembling the stand was that the screws are stars but it came with a flat head screw driver which was also too big to fit in the star grooves. Came intact in a well packaged box. Easy to assemble stand. The included screwdriver was flimsy and cracked but did the job of assembling the stand. As stated in other reviews, the stand is so so, but works. The 3, 5, and 8 pound set was just what I needed to continue my physical therapy exercises at home. Coating is not slippery and feels comfortable to grip. Hoping the coating won't chip/peal off like some other brands... looking forward to using these for years to come. ... show more

I love that the grip is just right . It doesn’t feel slippery for me and since i have small hands it is easy to hold. I admit it did take quite some time to assemble it and the screw driver they provided assemble was not useful and I had to use my own . It would have been nice if they included instructions on how to assemble the stand. I did place the stand on carpet and while it is not entirely in the center it doesn’t fall for me. ... show more
