I ordered 4 and 3 have came. Two have severe rust at the sleeve part which will scratch my bar. One has no rust but has pores in the cast iron. Update: 4th one finally came with no visual defects but weighs 43.6. 3rd weighs 43.6 2nd weighs 44.2 1st weighs 44.4

I have these 45s loaded beside standard olympic plates and as you can see from the pictures it's an olympic size center but everything else about the size of the plate is terrible. For the price it's ridiculous. I wouldn't buy these again. Size might not matter to everyone but it matters if you've spent thousands on a kick ass home gym and then see these sad little mini 45s. ... show more

I have been weightlifting for 10 years. When my gym had to shut down for Covid, I decided to build out my home gym. Of course change plates are a part of that process. It was hard to locate them any where, especially quality items for a reasonable price. I was hesitant to buy these, but had no other options. I am so glad I did! They are great! I use them with bumper plates for Olympic lifting, but because they are grip plates, they are also really helpful for accessory movements like weighted situps or shoulder movements ... show more

These are some solid plates!!! I think it’s just my mind playing tricks on me but these feel so much heavier than the 45lb bumper plates I remember on the squat racks at the gym. I imagine it’s because I haven’t been to a gym since March. Just to be sure I wasn’t mistaken, I checked them. I bought 2, and both weighed in right at 45lbs. I am currently using them on an AXLE bar and they’re great. 2” hole for bars. Good grips to use for other workouts too. Just don’t drop them and mind your feet since they’re solid iron. One thing that was a bummer was that the paper from the box fused to the iron on both plates. Nothing a little goof off/solvent couldn’t remove but just annoying. Great find during a hard time to find decently priced and in stock gym equipment for the home during these covid times. ... show more

Please take note. These plates have a 1.15 in. hole. they will fit a 1in. bar, but I should have done a little more homework. I ordered two 1.15in. dumb bell bars by mistake for which these plates work well. However, all of my plates are 1in. and therefore the dumb bell handles will not fit properly at all. 11/12/21. Received four new 'Powergainz' 5lbs plates today which have 1in. dia. holes. Different weights have different hole diameters. Very strange. 5lbs. plates have a 1in. dia. hole and 'Powergainz' 10lbs. plates have a 1.15in. diam. hole. 11/16/21. If a 1.15in. dia. weight plate fits a 1in. dia. bar or handle then what good is a 1.15in dia. bar or handle at all? I guess the logic escapes me. Why would you not want all weight plates to have a 1.15in dia. hole in them to fit both 1in. and 1.15in. bars and handles? I have checked Amazon.com web pages and found that Yes4all is about the only outfit that sells a 1.15in. dia. dumb bell handle. If you purchase 1.15in. dia. bar or handles you are stuck buying only 1.15in. dia. weight plates. Good luck trying to find them. Standard plates are 1in. dia. holes and Olympic plates have a 2in. dia. hole. These 1.15in. handles are an odd ball size. Purchase at your own risk. ... show more

Some of the reviews left me with doubts, but the two 45 lb. plates I just received far exceeded my expectations! These plates have an nice thick baked coating that feels wonderful and looks durable. all of the edges, including the center hole, are clean and smooth - fits the bar perfectly. The quality of these is superior to the CAP brand plates I currently own, and these are beautiful. The design is exactly the same on both sides and the cut-outs are designed to fit your hands very nicely. They both weigh 43.6 lbs. Weight plates are rarely exact, but I'm pleased that they are consistent and the same weight. I will be investing in more Sporzon plates! Update 10/30/21: Purchased 6 more of these plates in different sizes. One of the 5 lb plates was defective and would not fit the bar. Received a perfect replacement in 24 hrs. I still think it's a 5 star product that's priced right, but quality control is lacking and occasionally you will get a dud. As long as I get free return shipping, and I don't have to box it up, I'm fine with that. ... show more
