I ordered 4 and 3 have came. Two have severe rust at the sleeve part which will scratch my bar. One has no rust but has pores in the cast iron. Update: 4th one finally came with no visual defects but weighs 43.6. 3rd weighs 43.6 2nd weighs 44.2 1st weighs 44.4

The media could not be loaded. I am a regular user of my home gym and have tried various weight sets, bars, bricks and plates. I must say that these are a high quality design with great maneuverability. In the attached video you can see the size relative to the 1 inch bar, and how it compares when viewed on the bench itself. I have used these for a few weeks now and I had to invest in another one. Honestly, I thought this was a 2-pack. I was a little surprised by the price of one at first. But in comparison to the other plates I use, this was just so versatile I had to order more to complete my set. These are some solid plates!!! I think it’s just my mind playing tricks on me but these feel so much heavier than the 45lb bumper plates I remember on the squat racks at the gym. I imagine it’s because I haven’t been to a gym since March. Just to be sure I wasn’t mistaken, I checked them. I bought 2, and both weighed in right at 45lbs. I am currently using them on an AXLE bar and they’re great. 2” hole for bars. Good grips to use for other workouts too. Just don’t drop them and mind your feet since they’re solid iron. One thing that was a bummer was that the paper from the box fused to the iron on both plates. Nothing a little goof off/solvent couldn’t remove but just annoying. Great find during a hard time to find decently priced and in stock gym equipment for the home during these covid times. ... show more

These weights are amazing! They're on the heavier side due to being cast iron plates so make sure u don't drop them. But if u do a few exercises with these and go back to ur regular gym (if it ever opens again) u will definitely notice the difference which is better if u are into strength training. The plates are exactly what I was hoping for. Our home gym is really taking shape. We now have 2 of the 45s, 2 of the 25s, 4 10s and four 5s. I plan to get 2 35s and a couple more 25s to round out the set. The Sporzons! are better quality than the iron plates at our commercial gym, easier to grasp (I have small hands), and weigh in exactly. On 4-4-2022, I ordered four 10 LBS weights with 1" diameter hole in the center. I received them yesterday 4-13-2022. Considering some of the lengthy delivery times other reviewers seemed to have experienced, I'd say this arrived pretty fast. They came packed nicely, 2 to a box. Out of the box, they looked nice. No rust or damage anywhere. I weighed them, and they each came out 10 lbs. They fit my 1" diameter bar perfectly. I checked them (pair of 35 pounders) on my digital bathroom scale, and they weigh around 70lbs for the pair. The hole is a little large, as others have noted, and they do wobble a little around a 1" bar. But if I put the spring clips on snugly, they work just fine.
