As others previously mentioned, the watch is a bit fiddly to get programmed but once you figure it out their directions, the watch works great. It keeps good time and accurately counts the steps. Do NOTE: the watch will stop counting steps if you are taking small steps to do something and then may add steps after it has stopped. Sometimes this takes about 30 seconds to add steps in. It works while i am on the treadmill but does the stop thing for a while. It has a very easy to read face and I bought the blue color watch. Additionally, I have noticed that the band will soften up after about 4 days...so give it time as, at first it is very stiff. Hope this helps someone. ... show more

I wanted a pedometer to track my daily steps and miles. Able to track my steps on my iPhone for my daily walks but don't carry my iPhone around to track my steps during my day-to-day meandering. No interest in a smart watch. Clip-on pedometer inconvenient. I know the mileage of my walks and this watch matches the mileage quite well. Amazingly for each mile I walk the watch consistently tracks that I take 2,500 steps/mile. The best part of this watch is that I now know that I do meet my step goal daily. OK, so we are too cheap to buy one of those brand-name expensive fitness trackers. All we wanted to do was count steps with reasonable accuracy when we go for walks. Tried some free smart phone apps-not super accurate as you basically need to carry your phone in your hand to get a good count. Found this watch and have been using it for a couple of weeks. It WORKS! You don't have to do anything to get started except push a couple of buttons to set the date/time. The battery is already installed and is supposed to last about a year-no daily/weekly recharging and you don't have to download an app to a smart phone to use it. The time and step count are very easy to read even in bright sunlight. And it seems to be very accurate-at least enough for our purposes. Recommended ... show more

I wanted time and steps taken with no app or phone necessary. Difficult to set, steps disappear at midnight, function buttons are on outside rim so are easily hit accidentally. I did read through the instructions twice to assure myself I understood, & it was quite simple & efficient. The only drawback is not with this particular pedometer, but any that you will wear on your wrist. It does get sweaty at times, but that is not the fault of the device.
