I recently got these from my mom as a gift (this is her account but I wanted to write a review). I recently moved up north where they get a lot of snow, and this has been something that was foreign to me my whole life up to this point. I have a lot of health issues that affect my mobility, and was a fall risk even prior to having to navigate ice. I have fallen three times since moving up here after winter started. Everyone in my circle who's been here their whole lives were recommended cleats, and the first few that I ordered didn't fit on my overshoes. I was very surprised they accommodate my large overshoes, especially after order two different kinds prior that wouldn't go over them. They also have have great grip, and let me walk around very easily. These work fantastically and are easy to come off. I can now walk my dog again without fear. Thank you so much for these!

I ordered these after an ice storm and have been very happy to have them for the past few days; they are more cost effective than a trip to urgent care. I ordered a size large for my size 9 galoshes and there is a bit of wiggle room in the chain, but still work very well and I'm happy with the traction.

These work perfect for my winter hikes. Believe me I've tried many other types (coils, spikes) and they NEVER stay on. These grip your feet snuggly and come up over the top of your foot. In addition, the velcro strap to over the top of the foot provides even more assurance they will stay on. We are hiking the Ice Age Trail in Wisconsin and it is very wooded, very hilly and these are great for going up and down hills. The only slight negative about these is the velcro strap is not attached. For some people this may easily get lost but thankfully this kit comes with a handy little case to keep everything together.

***UPDATE 3/25/21*** Added a star for customer service reaching out and replacing my broken set. Hopefully these hold up a little better, but as winter hiking is quickly coming to a close for the season probably won't have a chance to give it a full month's worth of wear the previous set had. Will update next winter if anything changes. --- Been using these about once a week all winter. Being my first year of winter hiking I didn't want to go all-in on some of the pricier brands, so was grateful to find something at this low of a price-point. They are easy to fit and are reliable when on the trail, but sadly two chains on one side broke after about a dozen outings on moderate hikes (White mountains NH terrain, 3-7mi, 800-1500ft vertical per hike). They got me through one season, but will be investing in something with a longer life-span come next winter.

I am thrilled with these crampons! They are easy to use and fabulous for traversing the ice here in Ohio. I have been wearing mine to hike our bike path and get around the farm without falling. i bought these for my boots for work, i work construction and during the winter there is tons of ice that i have to walk on let me tell you these spikes are awesome!! very well constructed, and will protect you from sliding on ice and snow, no matter how thick or tin the ice is, the spikes cover your entire foot and give you peace of mind that you don't have to worry about slipping and sliding. you ain't going no where !!! totally recommend these for anyone who has to walk on ice or slippery conditions at work home or going around the block

This year we got a snow that we haven't had in our area for a while. My driveway became an ice rink and anywhere there was snow it became impossible to walk on. If I didn't have these I wouldn't have been able to walk outside for weeks without injuring myself. I feel they are good quality for the price. They work well on my snow boots. I would say be careful of sizing if you have bulky snow boots, you make have to size up. Be aware if they are made to fit tight so they don't come off while walking, so it takes a little bit of stretching to get them on your shoes/boots. I would highly recommend and buy again.
