They are pretty stretchy and easy to put on and take off. I can walk with confidence out there in the ice field of my driveway. They fit well and do not shift around on the boot. The traction cleats that I ordered for my husband fit his boots perfectly! He is so happy that now he can go out on our icy, hilly backyard and not fear falling like he did last year. Great quality and they slipped on easily. I ordered the large and they fit perfectly on a size 10 boot.

OK, I bought these in 2024. I finally used them during the recent snow and ice storm we had in the mountains of North Carolina. January 2026. They work. I had very thick ice and I was going up my driveway. I also had to go down to the basement. I live on the side of a hill on a mountain. Pretty steep and they worked a lot easier going up and down. Of course I was using tracking poles. As well it was thick ice and rocks, and I was able to reverse it well. I did have to kick it in a little bit on my toes because I was going on such a steep incline. I recommend them for anybody that wants to hike in snow and ice. They’re not designed for serious mountaineering, of course. But for the money, you can’t go wrong they seem to be well made, and I’m considering buying a back up pair.

So I got thes crampons mainly for hiking this winter since the trails near my place been super icy lately. First time using them was kinda weird, took a minute to get them on my boots right. Not hard just fiddly. But once they're on, they stay on. The spikes really dig in the ice and snow. I felt way more stable going up and down some slick hills. Didn’t slip at all which is kind of a big deal for me since I’ve had some close calls before. One of the chains did get a bit loose once but it was prob my fault not checking it before I started walking. Only thing I’d change is maybe the rubber part could be a little thicker or tougher? I worry they might stretch out too much with more use. But so far so good they’ve held up to 5 hikes and still looking strong. Overall I think they’re worth it. Not perfect, but for the price they do the job well enough. Just make sure to adjust 'em tight before heading out.

These crampons have saved me more than once in icy conditions on elevated trails. They provide excellent traction and feel secure underfoot. For the price, the quality really can’t be beaten. I did order one size larger to accommodate my bulky hiking boots, and they fit perfectly. I would definitely recommend these for anyone hiking in winter or icy terrain.

Works as expected. I recently used them in heavy snow and ice with a large winter boot. The spikes on the bottom held up well and did not bend when walking on hard surfaces. I would buy these again.

They really work going up and down icy, snowy terrain. I fell on the ice really bad sliding down the hill taking my dogs out on a hike. I got pretty bruised on my side. At my son’s suggestion he said try these win.max crampons they will help you not fall!! I just tried them and I have to say they work great and really adhere to the ice and snow just like the reviews said. I’m so happy with my purchase. I’m 5’ 2” and weigh 108 pds. I don’t know how long they will hold up wout breaking …the spikes on the bottom seem sturdy. It we shall see.
