The stitching in the front pocket has come apart, but this is after 3 years years of heavy use. This rip is somewhat of a happy accident as it is easy to access content. Some zippers have fell apart, but that is because of heavy use. I use this bag for BJJ and it has been used on average for 4 to 5 days a week for the past 3 years. I will most likely buy this bag again, because it is hearty, has various carrying options, and a ton of storage space. I think they could improve upon their fastener system and stitching, but again this isn't a BJJ specific bag.

I was initially very excited about this bag. I actually used some of my birthday money to purchase it. After using it for almost a month now, the main zipper is getting stuck in certain places. It's annoying and makes me concerned that the bag will not last as long as I thought. For the money I paid, I expected it to last. I don't normally write reviews, but since I did not find a contact number or email address on their website to discuss the issue, I figured let me warn others who are thinking about purchasing this gym bag. Other than the zipper thing, it's a cool bag. Let's see how long the bag lasts, I may reduce the stars.

I was very excited for this bag as i required a convertible gym bag I could travel as a backpack. When the bag arrived, all the material seemed high quality. The straps had a nice cushion to them, the zippers were smooth and seemed durable. Not only was it spacious, the sides are expandable as well. The issue was that the barrier between the side pocket and the main sector was halfway ripped. Plus, as others have commented, the branding is a bit much on the bag. I ended up going in a different direction, but assuming the bag comes in tact, I'm pretty sure it will last for a while

Let's get right into it. PROs: 1. Well made. This bag is stitched well and strong from every angle. Handles, shoulder strap, clasps, etc. are all very nice. 2. Pockets GALORE. Definitely, my favorite thing about this bag is the pockets. There are SIX pockets on the outside of the bag, and that includes one on every side. THE coolest thing is the sneaker pocket. Sneaker pocket? YES. You can EASILY unzip the sneaker pocket, with a breathable, mesh outer, and put in sweaty shoes (or clothes for that matter) from the outside of the bag. Whatever you put in from the outside does protrude into the bag, but it's all sealed with a parachute type material so whatever's INSIDE the bag will not come in contact with what you put in from the OUTSIDE of the bag (see photos). I wear a size 11, and you can see in the photos there's room for up to size 15 or 16 I'd think cuz the zippered pocket has give to it as well. Just SUPER dope. There's also a perfect little side pocket for something like a protein bar or bottle of water that you can quickly grab. 3. The CARGO net! At first, I thought it might be a little gimmicky but the first weekend I used this bag for a bit of vacay with some buddies, I stuffed the bag full and needed a little extra room for my pillow. Ize like, lemme see if It will fit under the cargo net. YEP. Then you can cinch down the cargo net, and whatever's in there is not falling out. On the ride home for the weekend I had my pillow under there and my tablet on top so I could access it on the go. It REALLY works. 4. Pretty roomy. Even with my shoes in the bag, using the outer sneaker pocket, I was able to fit (just for example) TWO 16" full throw pillows. I'd guess it'd be the equivalent of 4 complete outfits plus toiletry bag. 5. Just a little thing, but the zipper pulls are totally unique. This little red tab that your finger fits right in to and makes zipping/unzipping that much faster. The zippers are smooth, too. They don't snag or get caught on the bag itself. CONs: 1. Only two cons. I happen to love the red and black combo. I think the design and colors all go together really well, but I can see how it might be a bit much for some people that want all the features of this bag but with some subtler branding. I am not taking a star off for this. 2. The price. This is a fantastic bag, but I think the price tag, around $70, is just too high. Somewhere around $45 - $50 feels fairer. Grip sells a travel backpack that is under $20, and IT IS fantastic. It has almost as much room as this bag. Not that this bag isn't quality, but I'd rather see it $25 cheaper. All in all, this bag is a great gym bag or travel bag. If it was $25 cheaper, I'm giving it 5 stars all day. NOTE: I DID receive a full refund for leaving this UNBIASED review and GUESS WHAT...I wouldn't change a SINGLE word from what I wrote, refund or no refund. IF I thought this product was only worth 3 stars or less, I would've written so. Period. Hope this was helpful!

Update after contact with Seller: My previous update is honest and direct. I stated actual facts about my experience with this product. After posting, I decided to reach out to the Seller to inform them of what happened. It was a very tense communication back and forth. I did NOT expect a refund or a replacement. I just wanted them to be aware that the zippers installed on this gym bag are not durable. The bag's outer shell is very durable. The one I purchased still looks brand new on the outside. It really held up to the daily over-usage of a gym rat until the first zipper broke after a month. I really love this gym bag. Regardless, the zippers, and the plastic interior material for wet compartment, are not as durable as that exterior shell. Great gym bag concept that only requires installation of durable (tough) materials to hold it all together and extend longevity. The Seller sent me a new bag to replace the one I can no longer use. I did not expect that and I am very grateful. I am updating my review accordingly and will provide another update after a few months using the new bag. PS- Be discerning of reviews without Verified Purchase. Competitors may take advantage of a poor review to derail the sales of this Seller by posting more of the same. This Seller worked with me, beyond 90 days of original purchase date, and has taken my input into consideration for future productions. Previous Update: Purchased in March 2017. This was a great bag. Lots of compartments, especially for wet/sweaty clothes in a separate side pocket. Used it 6 days a week to the gym. By late April a zipper was acting up and finally broke. Now its August and another zipper gave out. Now it is unusable since nothing can be kept securely in bag. Zipper malfunctions and breaking are in main compartments. I expected this duffle to stand up to the daily usage it is advertised for. I will reach out to seller about this.
