I bought the first from a different company and it was far too large, plus it was very uncomfortable with a scratchy fabric! I was ecstatic when this arrived. It's soft and comfy. It feels like a quality item. It's not stretchy per se, but it isn't form-fitting. It's accommodating for a curvy human like myself (250 pounds, 5ft 9 inches) and long enough that my ankles are covered. Surprisingly, the sleeves were also long and kept my wrists covered even with my arms stretched out. The hood also stays up and doesn't flop off my head, even when I'm moving around. I was one of three dinosaurs this Halloween. All were very similar onesies, however, I definitely liked this one the best. Good quality, comfy, fit well (I'm 5'3" and 120 lbs and ordered a small), and the tail was perfect! Nice and fluffy.
