The game is amazing, the main issue I have is that I can't understand why majority of most games over 10 gigs you have to download like half of the files size on your switch. This one here had over 5 gigs. Why can't they put all data on physical copy? I understand patches, but when u insert card and have a huge download b4 u even play it, unreal. It's funny how p.s vita, 3ds, psp, ds, ect you never had this. And there are several large file size games on all of them. I think it's funny that all my download data goes on a micro sd card that is a fraction of the size, and some go up to 500 gigs now for switch. And the larger games we buy physically comes with mandatory downloads if you want all you pay for. ... show more

This is a remake of a game a played on the original Xbox like 15 years ago (don't quote me on the exact date... but it was a long time ago). The game is as nice as I remember it, and I get the nostalgic element as a plus. It's a fun game, I definitely recommend it.

The game in all was great. Brings back memories of the original one from 17 years ago. There are some minor glitches and a bit lag in this one but I still would recommend.

This was my favorite game as a kid so I was excited when I heard it was being re-released. It’s true to the original game and still somewhat challenging as an adult though it’s for children. A was slightly to young to enjoy the original Battle For Bikini Bottom when it first came out, even though I did own a Playstation 2 as a child. So, this experience is my first with the game. And for a licensed Nickelodeon game, this is fantastic. The story is not great, but did it really need to be for a Spongebob game? The voice acting (except Mr. Krabs) is all done by the original voice actors. The gameplay is actually surprisingly intuitive, and the controls are easy to use but difficult to master. The game is oozing with Spongebob's charm and humor. However, I have two major complaints for this game that bring it down a notch. First off, during the game, the characters will repeat the same lines over and over and over. In the tutorial level in Spongebob's house, I heard "This is where I keep all my old comic books" come from Spongebob over 20 times. And second, the loading times are ridiculously long. I waited 2 whole minutes for the first stage (Jellyfish fields) to load. And every time you die, the game has to go through the long load time again! Other then those two complaints though, the game is great, and is well worth the price. ... show more

Surprisingly when i was i child i had a spongebob game on the ps1 and it was actually very good so i got my switch and thinking back to the nostalgia of that game i thought hey it may still be decent and let me tell you this game is still just as great as the past sponge bob games were

Gor my order today! So excited for these games to arrive. I just included pictures of all three I purchased. Everything was nice and new. No problems and it looked well packaged. Excited to play, hopefully there are not any glitches. I know sometimes there are reviews about that. I recently bought the Harry Potter lego switch game and multiple people said there were glitches, I didn't have any! So far no problems ordering switch games off of Amazon. It's so convenient.
