UPDATE: The company reached out to me on Sunday after reading my review and offered a full refund AND a free replacement of the splash pad. The new one arrived on Monday, less than 24 hours after the initial message. This was top notch customer service, so my 2 star review turned into a 5. Thanks, Mel! We live in Arizona, where the summer days are hotter than the sun. This seem like the perfect birthday gift for my daughter. Susie from the busy toddler recommended it, so I could hardly refuse. The assembly was a little harder than what I expected, and some water would still spray out from the side. Not that big of a deal though. But what gets me is that not even two months later, the thing is busted on the side. It was definitely well loved this summer, but I’m bummed that we couldn’t even make it through a whole summer without this thing breaking. If you have a toddler like mine, who falls apart when things break apart, avoid this for a birthday gift. And I would also say, the return window is incredibly short compared to most products. Had I seen that, I would have looked somewhere else. If I could do it again, I would’ve gone the way bigger one from Costco, and could return it if some thing like this had happened. ... show more

at first the product would not screw on correctly to the hose and I left a poor review. Because of this, they immediately refunded my money AND sent me the updated version. I didn’t even check my emails to see if they said anything it was just done instantly. It did crossthread a little bit as well but it was at least able to attached. The first one I tried for 20 minutes to get it to attach and it wouldn’t but my husband finally got it to cross thread and leak a lot. This one has been more easily attachable and still leaks a little bit but it’s really not a big deal seeing how it’s supposed to spray water anyway. customer service absolutely on point and I would buy other products from them again because of this. ... show more

EDIT: Amazing customer service. A while ago we returned this product and were refunded. Today we got a package from the splashez company with a replacement! The replacement had a connector that does fit and we are floored. To top it off they sent these great little waterproof alphabet cards. The package included a letter that said they were sending these items to us to make it right and they hoped we would change our mind about the company. Needless to say I am impressed. I would absolutely do business with them again and do recommend the product! Changing my review to 5 stars to reflect that. Feeling bummed because the connector for this splash pad did not fit our hose. The threads would thread but we could not tighten it all the way so the connector would leak. I really wanted this to work too. The design is great and has lots of animals and things to point at. Maybe this will help others. We got our hose at a local Lowe’s and it is a typical hose that would be found in the USA. It has never had any problems being used with other items I have purchased. I will return this one and purchase a different brand, instead :( ... show more

Super easy, fun for ages 3 and younger. Water comes up about a foot above the pad. When you turn it on turn the hose on low and let the ring fill up, then turn it on high after its starting to work so you don't break the plastic holding the hose on. Probably won't last more then 1 summer, but its worth it for the few months you can use it. ... show more

Ordered this about a month ago and finally opened it up, when connected to hose water started leaking out of bottom of the connection. A seam on the side seemed to bust open as well and water is now pour out of the side. If buying i recommend opening same day and trying so you can send back if it’s defective! ... show more

Bought the splash pad for our 3 year granddaughter. She first used it at our house (with social distancing). It was easy to set up, just unfold it and screw the hose in. We could turn the hose pressure up high enough to where the water sprinklers went over her head, but she preferred the sprinklers to come up to het waist. She loved playing in it. At the end of the day, we simply disconnected the hose and drained the water. The pad folded up small enough to fit in a plastic grocery bag. My daughter set it up in her backyard for our granddaughter to play with at their home; and she brought it back to our house to use when we had our next outside social distancing get together. Overall, the plastic seems heavy duty and feels like it should hold up very well. More importantly, our 3 year old granddaughter spends hours in it.
