I absolutely love this thing! I bought this because my dogs go wild every time the doorbell rings and I was not about to be the only house on the block without my porch light on! It holds about half a Costco sized candy bag. The kids in the neighborhood have mixed reactions- some love it and some cry but they all jump! Watching the reactions on my Ring camera is my new favorite pastime on Halloween! The quality seems very sturdy. This will be our second year using it so will update if anything’s changes. He was easy to assemble with only a couple screws and batteries! There is a volume control and it can get very very loud so we keep it less than half volume. Sometimes I accidentally set it off and would jump! He was a great addition to our outdoor Halloween decor!

We had so much fun with this. The kids were scared at first but laughed tons. The adults were laughing like crazy too, especially the ones that came with little kids so the parent got scared too. Lots of laughter all around. Was a Halloween to remember. We looked at all the action through the window and kept refilling, as the bowl is small and we got many visitors. We’re already planning on how to change it a bit for next year.

Works great! It was a snap to set up. Seriously had it done in under two minutes. I don't think I've seen this in a review yet, but positioning the bowl right is key to it working correctly (every single time) Make sure the side of the bowl that has the sensor is in the front of his lap. If you imagined the bowl as being square rather than round, it would have 4 sides. One side is different inside the top of the bowl. Put this in the front. Enjoy!!!

Scarecrow comes unassembled and is kind of a chore to put together. I was kind of disappointed that it didn't have LED lights in the eyes. When assembled, it's activated by a sensor in the candy bowl. It works about 75% of the time and randomly triggers sometimes when nobody's near it. It worked well enough to have fun at Halloween. I customized it myself by glueing red LED lights in the eye sockets and tapping the wires that work the motor that makes it sit upright.

The first one that arrived had a number of issues, but the seller replaced it with a new unit and it works very well. I appreciate that they reached out and provided a good product that performs as advertised and as we originally expected.

The media could not be loaded. Worth it for just $109! I got inspired to do my own style to add spookiness. Just like what was advertised here. First, remove the jute twine rope around the neck. I added a monster mouth (from Temu). I used "map pins"/ sewing pins for the mouth mask stay in place inside the head manequin after cutting on the fabric covering the head. I placed battery-operated red lights ($2 from Walmart). I used the pins a lot and tape to keep it in place. I put holes around the mouth of the mask to add the red lights. I put a new jute twine rope around the neck. Lastly, around the mouth, I used a thin natural jute twin rope to make it look like it is sewn. Dogs and I were scared during the first 2 trials. The loudest is really loud and you'll jump! 🫶🏽 Can't wait to use it for Holloween! I hope this will last for a long time.
