  • 4.5 rating, love this idea but some important notes
I'm so glad these came in a pack of ten. This is a fantastic idea, and it's helped me more than anything else has in distracting myself from picking at my fingers. My daughter also likes them for the same reason. As other reviewers have pointed out, they give you a bit of pain which is a feature I really need in a fidget toy because it's reminiscent of picking at my fingers without actually hurting myself. The discomfort also registers more in my ADHD brain than other fidgets like pop-its that don't give me enough stimulation. I have a couple of issues with these, which are mostly not a big deal. They are a smidgen too small in my opinion, which is odd because I'm a woman and do not have massive fingers. I feel like they would be too tight for most men and even many women. Perfect for children and preteens, though. I have to constantly fidget with one or it becomes way too uncomfortable within 5-10 seconds. If they were a bit looser I could keep one on my pinky for a few minutes while I do something else (like typing or checking my phone or helping my kids get a snack) without putting it down somewhere and forgetting it. The other issue I've had is that three of the ten have come apart. I think they're fixable, but it would take a small tool and probably a magnifying glass to do it properly. If you don't have little pliers, be especially aware of this. However, they're cheap enough to replace that I don't feel like that's a massive drawback. ... show more

  • Pure magic for sensory struggles
These are freaking magic. I love them. My kids love them. I’ve given them out to anyone I know with anxiety or sensory overload. I keep them at work with me, keep some in my purse, and have them everywhere I can think of. My only complaint is that they do come apart pretty quickly. They can be put back together, but they don’t really last. However, I also lose them quickly so I end up buying more to replace them anyway. And regardless of all that- they are still more than a 5 star review. I love these little things. They make life a little easier. ... show more

  • Functional but Imperfect
These rings have become my absolute favorite fidget toy. They do not have any weird metallic smell and are perfect for my tiny fingers. If I leave them on for a while they do produce a bit of discomfort but usually I'm rolling them around enough that that's not a problem. If you are somebody who picks at your cuticles as a stim I would heavily recommend these. They are a perfect one-handed fidget. Most frequently I will hold the ring between my forefinger and thumb supported by my middle finger and run the sides of my finger against the ring, or roll the ring to the first knuckle of my forefinger and back. With two hands you can stretch the spring out and sproing it with your hands, which is very satisfying but (from experience) it can fly across the room. Generally I find this toy a great alternative for picking/scratching at areas I would usually attack with my nails or teeth. This is also a fantastic subtle fidget if you're an adult. Most people in my workspace have not noticed me using this, and at most assumed it was garbage when I left it on surfaces accidentally. Unlike a lot of more kid-oriented fidgets this definitely is a more adult-oriented toy, but also means they can get accidentally thrown away or lost in places they're not so visibly obvious. However, I want to note a few caveats to them. The first is that the join in the ring will fall open with heavy use, which is all that I do. It is quite easy to glue back together. Good application of superglue left overnight usually patches it right up. However, on my most-used rings they've broken apart a minimum of 3 times, so have a spare on hand if you're not near any superglue. The second is that the rings are subject to dirt and wear. I tend to stick to the silver ones since the coating on the gold ones does start to rub off over time. Luckily there is nothing visible on the fingers, but it is noticeable that the finish is wearing away. My most used ring (see below) has built up a bit of visible dirt that I am not yet quite sure how to remove. After I try washing the stainless steel I will try to post an update. Third, the rings to change with usage. While they spring back very well, the spring certainly softens over time. In my mind this is a benefit; I did not like how stiff the action and movement felt as I started using them and my favorite fidgets are the one I've used enough to make them move easily. However, if you like a really stiff fidget toy or one with a lot of tight return spring these might not be for you. ... show more

  • Too tight, and too easy to come apart
First of all, they're tight! I tried wearing them on my smallest fingers (and I have thin fingers), and it almost cuts off the circulation! I bought these for my kids (ages 6 and 9, especially the 9 year old who nervously twists her hair all day), but they didn't find them very stimulating, so I thought I'd use them for MYSELF, but no. Too tight. As for durability, two of these broke after one day of use - one was fixable (just by reattaching the area where it came open) and the other was irreparable (at the point where it opened up, the wire kinked, so it couldn't just be reattached like the other one). I realize these were cheap, and our school recommends them for fidget tools, but I for one will not be recommending these or buying them again. UPDATE: Their customer service ended up being incredible, so for that reason alone, I recommend giving these a try. If you have issues, or even if they don't work for you, the customer service is very helpful. Product (for my family's needs): 3 stars. Customer service: 5 stars. ... show more

  • Perfect Spiky Fidget Ring
If you are looking for a quality spiky fidget ring, look no further. Highly impressive design. They feel fantastic! I had a spiky fidget ring and lost it. Tried to replace it with the Rhino Skin ones - those were very tiny and they are soldered together. Good for kids but too tight for me as a person with smaller hands. Plus, they didn't feel as good. So I ordered these, and they didn't come. They got marked as undeliverable. I was ordering some other items and still wanted these rings, so I tried one more time. I am very happy I did. They are as good if not better than my original one! Larger, slightly heavier, and the feel really, really good. I have been using them for at least a month now without issue. If you want to try them I can highly recommend this set. They are quiet - no noise, and they can be used anywhere, school, office, home, religious center of your choice. (But be careful in some places because they are a springy toy and will pop out of your hands if you aren't paying attention!) Lastly, these are not soldered together like the Rhino Skin ones are, but instead they have been coiled together. My first one was this way too. It spring open at some point, but it is VERY EASY to coil the connection back together. Don't throw them out, unless the metal actually breaks, which if this is a think spring steel (maybe?) then that is very unlikely to happen. You can totally put them back together, because if I can do it, so can you! ... show more

  • Still using after 5 years
LOVE these. I got a set in 2021, and I still use them. Subtle, yet highly effective. They’re the perfect size for my fingers (note, I have small hands), and just tight enough to give strong sensory input. I am always looking for fidgets to help with BFRBs, but many are too conspicuous, and not repetitive or satisfying enough. Not these! I take them everywhere - work, shopping - because it’s easy to keep them on my key rings and lanyards. ... show more

  • Kicked my skin picking habit!
I bought these to try to keep my hands busy to try to stop picking at my face/acne so much and its TOTALLY working. I went 2 days without catching myself picking after having these fidgets for a few days. They do have quite a bit of pressure so after a while they start to rub your fingers numb but just take a break. A couple of them snapped pretty quickly, but they're cheap and come in a pack of 10 so not a huge deal. ... show more

  • Another speck of waste
I've had these for less than 2 weeks, and each one I've used has ultimately broken within hours. I haven't found a way to fix them once they're undone, even with my jewelry-making tools (nose pliers, soldering iron, etc.) or how to still fidget with them in their broken state. Maybe I play with them too roughly to begin with, but isn't playing with them precisely the point? Part of the issue might be that I roll them up and down my thumb. But I feel I sort of have to because they are too tight for me and honestly hurt to wear in the same spot for more than a few seconds. (For reference, my fingers range from a ring size 2 to 6.) They are a great fidget toy in concept: discreet, hard to lose and good for on-the-go. I just can't in good faith recommend buying something that ultimately becomes yet another speck of waste within mere hours ... on our already melting and burning planet. :,,) I also forgot to consider when purchasing that I'd like to wear them while I work, but they are too bulky for typing and such. ... show more
