The spikes are strong and sturdily attached to the bottom plate. It makes rows of holes in the grass. It easily takes my weight of around 200 pounds, and I hope that this will help the grass to show improvement.     • Missing spikes
Recieved the aerator a few days ago. Opened the package last night to assemble the item only to find out that it is missing 5 aerator spikes. I must say though that the item appears to be solidly built. However I would have to return the item due to the missing spikes.

This aerator works for getting some oxygen into our yard. It is fairly sturdy and gets the job done. I will say, we are tall people, and I wish the handle was adjustable to be higher or shorter as needed.
