Spigen is my go-to for device cases. Normally they protect my device from my clumsy drops or being knocked off a table due to an excited dog and charging cable. This is the first time I've ever had a device put into a certain death scenario. It was late and dark, I'd just left a friends birthday party (a 1920's murder mystery party) and was putting my period attire in the back of my car. Rather than throwing my iPad (which I had been taking notes on) inside of my car then putting my clothing in, I set it on the roof instead. It was freezing cold (17 degrees F) and I was more worried about getting into my car and warming up than anything else. I was half-way home (6 miles from the party) and my phone notified me that my iPad had been left behind - it was at that moment I remembered putting it on the roof of my car, and not putting it in the car. I tried calling, texting and all but smoke-signals to get in touch with my friends still at the party - to no avail. I turned back around and decided to start looking. Surely it had fallen off in the driveway. Then just under a mile behind me I found it, on the road (picture above). I thought for sure it was dead, shattered, or damaged beyond use. To my surprise I opened the cover and on came the vibrant, beautiful and unscathed screen. My pen was totaled... but at 10% the cost of the iPad, I'll take that trade happily. I was doing 50 mph and it slid off my car, tumbling on the pavement, and yet it's functional now. I'll continue buying Spigen cases likely for as long as they make them for my devices. Great case for the iPad Pro that charges the pencil as well. The kickstand is kinda flimsy but I rarely use that since the iPad is always laying flat for drawing purposes.

the case itself is very nice ! sleep mode works as expected, the finish of the case is very nice and when closed it’s stays closed. the magnets that wrap around the pencil could be stronger and more on the front flap. and folding the case for a stand is not that great but I️ can still get it to stand sturdy. overall great case if you have a pencil. would recommend ... show more

Not the greatest stand (keeps falling over for me) but it's very protective and looks and feels premium. I still use it and like it a lot, I just wish it would prop up on it's own a little better, as is I just use a pillow stand.

    • Worth it but you should know…
So it’s pretty nice. It’s slim and does the auto wake and shut off. I see some people claiming it won’t change the pencil. I have had no issue with it charging my Apple Pencil 2. There is a small indent for it and it magnetically locks in place and charges. Not as sturdy magnetically as on the naked iPad. Now the low points. When holding it in notebook form the trifold is a bit floppy which should probably be expected. If you hold it with the folding side facing down it will sag a little. So not super tight. But the plastic backer fits nicely. Feels a little slippery. Cheaper than my zugu alpha case and it feels like it. I also have a supcase unicorn beetle pro which is more sturdy but downy have the screen protector. And the magic keyboard which doesn’t protect the edge. If you’re on a budget then this is THE case. It’ll help prevent bending in bags assuming you do your part and don’t beat the bag up too much. Fits perfectly with my spigen glass’r screen protector and camera lens protector. I was going to return it but it turns out IT DOES CHARGE THE APPLE TWO PENCIL. oh and also the back shows all the finger oils from your hand and does scratch fairly easy. I plan on using this case for car rides and travel when I know I won’t need my magic keyboard. ... show more

I have used Spigen products for a long time now and bought this case for my iPad. The case is great. The stand cover is sturdy enough for my usage (home, office, traveling musician) and the alcantara on the inside cover keeps the screen clean. I trust the case to handle small tumbles. My Spigen case for my iPhone has seen worse and my phone is still unscathed! I used to have an issue where my Apple Pencil 2 didn’t charge with the case, but after a month or so the problem went away. ... show more

This is exactly like the otter box symmetry 360 elite case, but this one is less than half the price and looks and feels nicer! I also have no clue why people are saying the Apple Pencil doesn’t charge. Mine charges without fail and attaches fine with the magnet (3rd gen 2021 iPad Pro 11). The back looks super sleek and my only gripe about the entire case is that unlike most folios, when you fold the cover to stand the iPad vertically or at a drawing angle, the magnet doesn’t hold too well so you have to kind of hold it in place until you put your iPad on the table.
