  • Simple installation that works great for my OLED
I've trusted Spigen for their phone cases for a while, and I'm glad I trusted them again for this screen protector, because it's probably the best experience I've had installing one in recent memory. First off, they send a giant piece of plastic along with the protector itself that rests right on the Deck, with divots molded to help line up the protector. Instructions were clear, and I managed to install it with no bubbles present at all. I did get it a little off centered, so I would recommend once you've done the initial press onto the screen, take off the larger piece of plastic and check where the protector landed and correct from there. Very high quality, and while I wouldn't try to scratch it deliberately, I've got no question about its durability. Easy recommendation. ... show more

  • One and done with the Spigen
I am terrible at applying screen protectors but Spigen has been consistently the easiest protector to install. I went through 6 different JSAUX screen protectors before I bit the bullet and bought the Spigen. Game changer. It’s the easiest to apply. The wipe and microfiber cloth are high quality and don’t shed little fibers which mess up the installation. The frame included makes it very easy to install. The quality of the glass is excellent, doesn’t even look like there’s a screen protector there. Most importantly it goes from edge to edge fully protecting the screen. Buy once, cry once. I should’ve done it from the beginning. ... show more

  • Seamless application with ease
My husband does my screen protectors because if I do it, and there's a bubble, it'll drive me nuts. If he does it, it doesn't bug me as much. He also does a fairly good job at applying them. Still, in this season of life for us, I know convenience is sometimes worth more to him and he'll pay a little more for that. Between the reviews and the screen protector stats itself, I opted for this one. After my husband has applied the screen protector he says "whoever makes that must be tech geeks." He means well, he's just super literal because he's autistic. I ask "what's that supposed to mean?" just to ensure he's meaning what I think. Husband "well you can just tell, they've thought of everything. It fit perfectly and even you could put it on." 🤣🤦🏻♀️ Again thanks hubby. "Oh wait, I mean like, it wouldn't cause you frustrations cause it just went on so well. They just clearly had it nailed down to a science." I still kinda laugh at how he described the whole thing but he was pleased. I confirmed "so, did I buy the right thing/would you buy it again for slightly more but super easy?" He said yes. On, it looks and feels great. I really don't notice it's there and am so pleased with that. I don't get to game as much as I'd like with a little bit so far haven't "tested" it's durability. I'll update if I do. Very pleased with this product and as was my husband during application. ... show more

  • Permanent bubbles easily form during installation
God help you if a stray piece of dust manages to get under the screen during installation. You can polish your screen as smooth and lint-free as god's asscheek, but the second ANYTHING gets under there you now have a permanent bubble. I managed to get 3 pieces of dust just from peeling off the back and clamping it to the device. Normally this wouldn't be such a terrible thing, almost invisible and maybe something you can live with. But on LCD screens, like on most of the Steam Deck models? It will look like dead pixels from the glare it creates. And you get exactly ONE chance at this with the singular screen cover, so once you mess up it's permanently useless. I'd recommend finding a different product, or somehow managing to achieve perfection in your cleaning job. This part might just be a faulty model so take this with a grain of salt: One corner just straight up didn't seal to the surface of the screen. There is now a permanent bubble in the right corner that is absolutely going to result in this thing peeling up and/or accumulating more dust under the protector. This thing has been rendered absolutely worthless to me and I regret paying any money for it. ... show more

  • Depends
I ordered this twice. Mostly cause I messed up on the first one I tried putting it on. However the second one I got made me notice I was missing a couple of things in the first. Such as the wipe to clean my screen but I mean it’s a protecter so it does what it’s supposed to & it is easy to put on really full proof. ... show more

  • -0.25 Stars for including only one.
I don't know how I am supposed to take a picture of something that I can barely detect is there! If I just handed you my Steam Deck, you'd probably think the glass was factory-installed unless you were looking for a screen cover. Success in applying a screen protector is all about following the steps; my Steam Deck was brand new, sealed in a box, and I still wiped it down and everything. My only complaint is that it does not come with two in a box; those bubbles that do not go away can occur, and it is best to give people a second chance rather than assume that everything will turn out fine. ... show more

  • I wish it came with more than one, considering the price.
I like this so far, I haven’t had it on for long but it seems really durable. The price is a bit much for only one protector though, which really sucks. I followed the instructions pretty well I thought, but there still ended up being some speck under the protector. It was easy to install and the screen responds well with it on. With the amount you pay for one protector, this thing better not scratch soon. And you maybe should only get this if you don’t have many speck issues with protectors. It seems good for what it is, it’s just pricy. ... show more
