Honestly this is such a simple product but it keeps the MagSafe pad in place and is exactly what I needed for my work desk. It’s nothing fancy but it looks good, it’s functional and met my needs.     • NOW I understand why you would want a MagSafe charger!

When MagSafe charging came out, I didn't understand why anyone would want it. The MagSafe puck sticks to your iPhone 12 nicely when you bring it close and makes sure it is perfectly aligned - that's good - but when you want to take your phone away, you need two hands to separate the phone and the charging puck. Now my phone is tethered to a wire again and the charger does not feel "wireless" anymore. This product does just what it says: keeps the MagSafe charger stuck to the table or other surface when you pick up your phone. Wow! Now I don't need two hands to pick up my charging phone and wireless charging is wireless again. I'm surprised Apple doesn't include something like this (or at least sell an accessory like this). As far as the stickiness goes, it has worked great on the surfaces I've tried: polished wood desk and night stand, formica countertop, and other smooth surfaces. I see that some others have had trouble with some surfaces, which is why I ordered one Mag Fit to test out before ordering another for my other charger. Based on the one I got, it seems surprising to not be able to find a surface that it works on (though I'm sure some textured surfaces wouldn't work at at all). Maybe they didn't notice the (nearly invisible) clear plastic protector on the sticky surface? If you don't take that off, it will slide around for sure! ... show more

I was so sick of my charger falling off my bedside table that I decided to try this. GREAT investment. The back is sticky but didn’t ruin the cheap wood veneer on our beater end tables and pulled right up when we switched out for nicer ones. A very clever and useful addition.

Have had this item before, but after being in the same place for so long the surface ripped. Bought a new one to place on the same surface and it does not stick at all. The tacky surface actually fell off at one point why trying to get the charger into the mount. Overall very dissatisfied with this purchase from a typically reliable brand. ... show more

Purchased this at the same time as a MagSafe charger, assuming it was something I needed. I have had an Apple Watch for several years and used a Spigen watch stand and figured this would be useful to keep the puck attached to my nightstand. I used it for a couple months with mixed results. If I did not out my phone in a case, it snapped quickly and easily to the charger held in place. If I had a case on, it was finicky to get lined up. A soon realized that the lip on the Mag Fit prevented the phone from sitting flat with a case. I took the MagSafe charger out and have been using it standalone for a couple weeks and it’s much better. It’s really not an inconvenience to slip the charger off the phone; with a case on it’s magnetic enough to grab the phone but lifts away easily. TL;DR Works well with no phone case, not necessary if you have a case. ... show more
