I picked up the Spigen Classic C1 case mainly because of the look. It is visually dope and hits that nostalgic vibe perfectly. I have been using it since the iPhone 16 Pro Max released in 2024, and it has been amazing the entire time. The case has held up extremely well with daily use and still feels solid and protective. Pros: Strong internal magnet that works great with MagSafe Excellent look, color, and overall feel Good protection without feeling bulky Cons: If I am really nitpicking, there is some very minor paint wear after almost two years of use. This Spigen C1 Classic Series case is hands-down one of the coolest cases I’ve ever put on an iPhone. The translucent teal “Bondi Blue” look is such a perfect throwback to the old iMac G3, and Spigen absolutely nailed the retro vibe. The detailing on the back, the faux internal components, the textured bottom section — all of it feels intentional and high quality. Protection-wise, it feels solid without being overly bulky. The buttons are crisp and responsive, the camera cutouts are spot-on, and the grip is great in the hand. MagSafe works perfectly too. Every time I pick up my phone, it just makes me smile. The fit and aesthetic of this case is absolutely fantastic. the orange color i picked to match my phone is vibrant and almost stands out as much as the phone itself did. for iPhone 17 pro max this does cover the camera plateau but does NOT cover the lenses or the lens protrusions. but the plateau cover is raised just enough that those shouldn't ever come into contact with anything. I still would have preferred it covered the protrusions at least. Getting the case installed was a bit of a struggle, however the back plastic is hard plastic, the inner grey part is some kind of rubber. The quality of the case and magnets however are fantastic, this thing practically grabs onto anything with a ferrous metal and when it comes to magsafe accessories or phone mounts it simple latches on and requires conscious effort to remove. At $35 usd (at the time of my purchase) I would wish the finish and durability of the plastics could be a bit more premium, in terms of value for the price I'd say that most of it comes down to aesthetics rather than the manufacturing quality. the bottom white plastic on mine has started to develop a very small crack around the seam between it and the orange plastic. On top of that the plastics themselves are made from a very glossy textured material, feels very "grabby" which i guess helps with gripping the phone but it attracts hand oils and fingerprints very very verryyy easily, and often times feels odd to the touch due to the nature of the plastic. ... show more

Feels great to hold, not as bulky as people said it was in the reviews, and looks great! Case magnets are very strong, and the buttons feel good except for the camera button. the camera hole cutouts are sliiiightly off center but it’s hard to notice. very good case!

Wish the camera guard was a little taller but I do like the style and it has nice details. I love everything about this case. It’s a beautiful throwback with great attention to detail. It’s not heavy and I love that it’s an easy to clean material. I wish there were a matching one for my MacBook and AirPods. Getting my phone in it was straight forward and easy to do. It comes around the bezel, fully protecting my phone, while giving it that classic look. It’s easy to hold and grants access to all buttons and is MagSafe. This case looks and feels great. It was easy to install because the bottom part snaps off, allowing you to squeeze the phone into the softer part of the case. I'm not someone who often drops my phone, but I did drop my phone onto tile shortly after installing this case, and there was not a single mark on the phone or the case. It handled it perfectly. I've never been one to spend a lot on a fancy case, but I do want to have some decent protection, and I feel like this case provides that. I love the look of it, and all the seams are tight enough that dirt can't get in, making cleaning as simple as wiping it off. Mag-safe, wireless charging, looks good, great value. This has been one of the best cases I have ever had for my iPhones the retro feel and look has been amazing tons of compliments from a lot of old Mac heads who recognize the iMac Design aesthetics .
