Great looking and feeling wine glasses, with a thin lip to enhance the tasting experience (unlike several other wine glasses). With a long stem it looks very elegant, but is also therefore a bit delicate - so care is needed when hand washing (would NOT clean these in a dishwasher). Overall a great glass, but reduced the rating by 1 star due to the slight asymmetry of the stem and body around the vertical axis (from the bottom to top of the glass) . This might be due to the difficulty of making longer stem glasses, and is a bit too noticeable when rotating a glass upright between the thumb and the neighboring 2 opposing fingers. ... show more

It's really difficult to photograph, but very obvious in person. There are flaws and ripples in the glass. Ordered these glasses and, since I didn't have any Burgundy at the moment, I tried them with a California Pinot Noir. Excellent! The wine opened up well in the large bowl and the rim places the wine right on the right spot. Highly recommend them.
