  • Long lenses don’t have to hurt your neck or wrists
Size: Single Mirrorless
After I saw someone using a hip belt, I gave up on a chest-based carrier, and was able to up my bird photography with longer lenses (telephoto and now a 600mm prime). With the Spider Holster, I have been able to take my gear even on 1 or 2 week long birding trips, comfortably! With the weight above my hips, it becomes just part of my clothing. When I’m on level ground, I keep the safety off and can draw it quickly up for a shot. On uneven ground, I may put the safety on so it won’t chance bouncing out of the holster. If I’m riding in an open vehicle over bumpy roads, I will set the camera on my lap. I am noticing a little bit of wear on my older belt’s fibers, but the latches all still work fine. I would advise getting in the routine of checking the mount on the camera’s base before each outing, as it can loosen over time and risks slipping. ... show more

  • Comfort
Size: Dual DSLR
I used it in a 8 hour event last night. No back, neck, or shoulder pain today. It was easy to get the cameras on, and off. The price held me back at first from buying it, but now I’m glad I did.

  • Fantastic
Size: Single Mirrorless
So glad to have something to carry my extra camera that isn’t adding weight to my shoulders on a wedding day. This came in perfectly handy and plan to use from here on out!

  • Wish I had this years ago!!!!
Size: Dual DSLR
LOVE LOVE LOVE everything about this holster!! THANK YOU SPIDER!! I first saw this belt on a wedding photographer, and asked her about it. I’m so glad I did. I bought the SpiderPro Dual camera system v2 for DSLR cameras. It’s awesome! This belt makes lugging around 2 cameras (one with a 105mm macro lens, and the other with the whopping 150-600mm lens) a breeze! I have had neck, back & shoulder issues from years of carrying my equipment on my shoulders. I wish I would have started with this belt. It’s solid, easy to use, has a triple locking system so it doesn’t fall off, and it leaves your hands free. Amazing!! If you are on the fence about spending the money, don’t be. This belt is worth every cent. I highly recommend it. Oh, and watch the YouTube video on how to assemble it. Very helpful. Thank you Spider!! Keep up the great work! ... show more

  • A safe and secure way to carry your expensive camera
Size: DISCONTINUED - Single
This is a very well made and comfortable holster. It was a little pricey IMO, but so is my camera. It's made in the USA, and it's very secure. If you carry your camera in crowded situations, rest assured that once you clip it onto the belt, it can't fall of or be subject to someone trying to grab it and run. The camera locks in place once you attach it to the belt, and there's a release catch you have to push before you can take it off the holster. The holder mechanism is securely attached to the belt and holster, and will not come off without tools and a great deal of effort. I would have bought the double holster for my other camera, but it's just the single holster with an add-on clip for the other side that isn't permanently attached in the same fashion. ... show more

  • Best design!! Totally worth the cost!
Size: DISCONTINUED - Dual
I have been in photography as a professional for 10 years, and mainly I do individual and family portraits. I have also shot many weddings, and really needed a product like this, but I never thought I could justify the expense of a Spider. I finally bought the dual camera Spider holster, and I will never go without it again. This literally SAVED MY NECK AND BACK. Being almost 50, typically my back is very sore the day after an all day event, and I often have to visit the chiropractor to get relief. Not this time!! The design is genius and so practical too. All the weight of the gear is put on my hips and legs- not my arms and back. No straps around my neck, no dangling cameras that bump around & hit things. At first I was scared to walk around with it in the “unlocked” position, but for the bride walking down the isle, I didn’t lock it, and it was fine! I could switch cameras with so much ease! It was a little hard to get the 2nd camera holster in the right position, and I still need to move it forward a few inches, but once in place, it was fantastic. I did notice about half way through the day that the plate that attaches to the base of the camera worked itself a little loose. Fortunately, because of the good design, there is a small wrench built in to the plate and I could tighten it on the fly. Best purchase I have made in a long time!! ... show more

  • A Photographer's MUST HAVE
Size: DISCONTINUED - Dual
This is the second Spider Holster I buy. I purchased one in May 2018 (for single camera) and now this one for dual camera. I use this everywhere I go with my camera. It is incredible easy to hang the camera on this belt and also to take it out. I use the lock mechanism, just to be 100% safe when I hang my camera on this belt, but if you are just walking around, you can keep it unlocked. I had a 2-week trip where I photographed cities this fall. I must say that this Spider Holster is a life saver for me, while walking around for many hours with my camera. You can hardly feel it on your hip. I tried to use a neck strap one of the days for my camera, and after a while, I ended up holding the camera in my hand, as the neck pain just got too much. If you walk around a lot with your camera, this is definitely the best investment for your camera, besides lenses. I have also used the Spider Holster with my 100-400mm lens, which is pretty big. It works all fine, but I prefer a neck strap with this kind of big lenses, as I use the strap to get a more steady hold on the camera when shooting bird or monkey pictures up in the trees. So many people have stopped me and asked me about this Spider Holster, and they all seem to want one. ... show more
