So far, I have only used it to cut in paulownia wood, a very light, very soft wood, but it does a great job and can cut fast and deep with very little effort. It has been a very nice addition to my set of CNC bits, and has greatly expanded the projects undertaken. I have much more to learn about using it. Also, the added size/power of this bit is causing me to evaluate/enhance my safety practices around the CNC. Would buy again. ... show more

You can pay a lot more, but why? One can argue all day long about quality, brand, etc., but this bit does what it is supposed to for a way lower price than premium bits. And when it wears out (just like any premium brand will eventually) this one doesn't hurt your feelings (or pocketbook) to replace. It works, it's affordable and I am satisfied.     • Works great as a drip tray ring or as a bowl making router.

I have used this bit to make several drip tray rings around my cutting boards. It makes a slightly larger groove than normal on a 10.6x20 inch board but anything larger than that it looks good.
