First glance when I opened the package I was very impressed with the shoes in terms of build quality. I was not impressed with the packaging. These came in a plastic bag and the shoe box inside was completely crushed and torn open. I purchased these in US size 12 which is my normal size and what Amazon recommended. They were so narrow across the widest part of my foot that when I took a few steps they immediately started to hurt my feet. They are almost long enough (toes just touching the toe of the shoe). Having "broken in" numerous pairs of "cowboy boots" I could tell right away these aren't going to break in and get comfortable for me. Maybe it was just this one pair, but I suspect I would need at least a 12.5 wide and possibly a 13 in this style. Take this review for what it's worth, YMMV. I am returning them. ... show more
