The combination of waterproof protection, comfort, and style makes it as practical in the rain as it is good-looking around town. The upper leather feels premium right out of the box—sturdy but flexible enough to break in quickly. The seam-sealed waterproof shell works beautifully; I’ve stepped through puddles, slush, and damp grass without a drop leaking in. The fleece-lined interior adds just enough warmth for mild winter mornings, though for deep snow or freezing temps, I’d pair them with heavier socks. The fit is true to size, but a bit snug at first if you have wider feet—once broken in, they’re comfortable enough for all-day wear. Possibly the best pair of boots I have ever used in my life. I work Pest Control, I'm always outside and can be doing anything from spraying homes to repairing foundations under decks or on top of roofs. Not once with these boots have my feet ever gotten wet, and after almost two years they have not cracked or worn out. The first thing to wear is the tread, all the toe bending and crouching in severe conditions and the rubber is still whole and unscathed. At this point the leather stitches are breaking but these have lasted longer than any other boots I've used and have been more comfortable and water proof as well. I will buy these again and again from now on when needed.

When I received the package from our mail carrier, I thought there is no way that the box in my hands was the set of duck boots i ordered; the package was WAY TOO LIGHT! But indeed these were the Sperry Top-Siders and my first impression was a very positive one. I quickly put on a pair of lightweight cotton hiking socks and had no problem in placing my feet inside these boots. Even as a new boot the soft leather upper combined with the fleece like cold protective inner seal made for a quick and comfortable fit. The laces are cotton rather than nylon, a good thing for a tight knot. once i tightened the boots and took them out to my yard for a test walk, I was amazed how comfortable they felt. I felt a slight burn on top of my right foot where my small toe was located, but after a short bit of walking, I worked through this stiff area. The boots are very well sealed, so much so that wearing a heavy sock may feel uncomfortable and produce unnecessary sweating. I personally think that a nylon/silk liner sock in combination with a lightweight hiking sock will be the right combination for my needs. Very well pleased with the purchase and highly recommend these boots.

These boots work well. I am happy with them. They are made in China. I believe they upper leather looking part is not leather, but they do the job for working in wet and muddy areas. I would purchase them again. I would give them a 5 star if they were genuine leather.

I bough this boot for the wet field conditions at the soccer fields in the morning. They keep my feet dry and clean. They easy to wash off all the grass that accumulates after the games. The boots fit exactly as expected. I can see if you have a wide foot that getting the boot on will be difficult until they’re broken in. The ankle and cuff are snug for a while. I used a long shoe horn and my foot slid right in. After 8-10 wears they now go on with ease. The comfort level is great. I didn’t have any hot spots or places that rub. It all depends on the users foot. As for warmth, I’ve worn them in 30 degree wet weather and it’s going to depend on what kind of sock you wear. The boot isn’t insulated where the rubber is so it’ll eventually be as cold as the air/ground temp. I wore winter socks and was perfectly fine. I am glad that they aren’t insulated so they can be worn year around without having sweaty feet in the summer. It’s overall a great boot that looks good at the same time. They’ve become a daily wearer for me now.

Excellent looking, comfortable, great quality, waterproof, & very durable. The total pkg in a boot. I had two identical pairs prior to this one. I had each for approx five years apiece. I ruined my latest pair by using an industrial sprayer while it was too windy and the overspray unbeknownst to me, permanently damaged my boots. Therefore, I quickly ordered the same pair for the third time, which speaks volumes as to their ruggedness & durability. Highly recommended!!!!!
