I purchased these shoes for use as end-of-day, around the house, slip-on casual shoes. And for that they fit the bill and are very comfortable. But, getting there took some effort. This pair is the second I ordered as the first pair was too large. My usual shoe size is 14 and the first pair of 14's was too large. So I returned them and ordered another pair, size 13. These were a little large also, but I was able to obtain a good fit by adjusting the laces. So size wise, these shoes are on the large side. I have had the shoes for six weeks, wearing them every day for about four hours. For the first five weeks the shoes were too stiff and not comfortable, but I persisted with wearing them and am glad I did for now they are broken in and feel great to just relax in. Really risky buying shoes on-line, but with these, I hit a home run. I measure a 10.5 and ordered the 11. They fit perfectly. They can be slipped on without re-tying and they won't feel loose. I water proofed the suede-like material (brown buck) and the material retained it's suede-like texture and feel (and are now waterproof too!) The shoes were well packed, arrived fast, and look good. They are narrow on me but my foot is between normal and wide depending on the last. Also, I know that they tend to stretch over time. I’ve had several pairs of these over the years. They comfortable and work well when dress shoes are too much and tennies are too little.. They’re very durable and stylish (unusual combo). I have unusually high arches and hardly ever touch the shoes’ arch, but they appear to be average. I love’em!
