  • Follow Directions Precisely
My husband and I recently started trying to conceive. We were curious to see if he has a healthy sperm count. Luckily we got a positive result! This kit has very specific instructions. I recommend reading it all thoroughly so you do it right the first time.

  • Worked just as directed!
My husband and I have wondered how his count was for a long time (as in, is it normal) and this was such an easy way to check. Easy directions and got a positive result. Very happy and have better peace of mind.

  • It works
Trying to get pregnant at 38 and my husband is 30, I’ve been checked and wanted to see where he was at. Swimmers are good and officially expecting.

  • Worked, but the results are essentially useless if you suspect infertility
This item DID show I have sperm, so I cannot say the item is faulty or anything. However, that's the only thing it's good for. It turns out that fertility is much more complex. This does not measure count, motility(how fast or well they move), or morphology(how many are well formed) I ended up having a semen analysis and everything came back normal to above average. It was completely covered by my insurance. Honestly, save yourself the headache and just get a semen analysis done. Again, THIS ITEM WILL NOT INDICATE IF YOU ARE INFERTILE. You can easily test positive for having sperm yet be infertile. I bought this and the YO microscope camera because I felt like I could just do everything at home. Even if you test positive, if you and your partner are having difficulty concieving you will need the semen analysis. I ended up wasting a bunch of money instead of just getting the lab test done for free. ... show more

  • Very easy
As long as the results are valid this test was very easy to use.

  • Beware and do some reading on how to collect samples first.
You can probably get covered by any health insurance company for under $50 and for most tests today you can collect the sample at home and simply drop it off. If you're too timid for that or want to be totally discrete, this test will just be okay as it doesn't measure the most important aspects of sperm, like mobility. Additionally, this test's threshold for count is well below what is considered normal, so even a "positive" doesn't mean your count is high enough. If you still want to proceed knowing this isn't going to give you any useful information, then be aware that you should go between 3-5 days without ejaculating before the test. You should do so at least 5 days before the test. The test and sample should be kept as close to high room or body temperature as possible as cooler temperatures will kill the sample. This test does not provide that information and few people know the 3-5 day rule, which is the time frame for healthy sperm to be ready to do it's job. ... show more

  • Poor customer service and a crappy product
So, obviously, this product requires a certain bodily fluid to work. My partner and I are TTC and wanted to make sure his swimmers were good. Ya feel me? This product was pricey. We liked that we could test his swimmers at home without him having to do the thing in a cup at the doctor's office. That's just kinda weird. So, we paid for it. Unfortunately, this test did not work. No line showed up, not even the control line. We waited like 25 minutes to see if anything would happen. Nada. We were annoyed and threw it out. I contacted manufacturer's customer service. I wasn't necessarily looking for a refund. Just wanted to let them to know it was faulty and they might be making some false claims about this being accurate. They wanted us to send the product back to them?? And they also wanted a picture of the faulty test. The first request was weird AF, because uhh... We used the test as intended and that's just gross. I could understand the picture thing. However, we were both irritated at this test, the process, and it not working. I was not digging it out of the trash. We took a chance because there are other bad reviews. I'm writing so that other people know to avoid this product. You definitely are risking your money with this. It seems very hit or miss. ... show more
