Well designed! 5 channels: Steering, Throttle and 3 Auxillary channels. I use an Auxiliary channel to run my RC Crawler winch off a button on this Transmitter. Unlike an RTR Transmitter, you have to set up the channels including assigning trim switches, servo reversing, rates etc. But it's pretty easy with patience. I recommend this! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I've been racing R/C buggies and trucks for the last few years and this is a top notch transmitter with out the insane price tags of the other brands. Some of the guys I've raced have transmitters that cost between $500 and $1000. I still beat them with my humble Spektrum DX5C. We just recently finished our 12 week race season. I won 1st place in Losi Mini-B Stock, 1st place in Losi Mini-B Open Class and 2nd place in our very popular and competitive 1/10th scale 2WD carpet buggy class. So unless you really need a fancy transmitter with a touch screen, you are better off spending your money on tires and practice time at the track. ... show more

Really nice upgrade from the DX3 which is the best Arrma/Losi rtr transmitter. Easy to use and program. Do not listen to others complaining about this. Great control over AVC. Download the manual before you buy for the explanation.

    • For a premium product, it feels cheap.
For the price of these transmitters I feel they need to make it feel more premium and stop with the cheap plastic, use some aluminum or something NOT CHEAP. I mean they charge for a case almost what they charge for these transmitters but why would I want a case to pack something that when you pull out of the case looks like crap. It does have options but the best way to learn about the options it actually to go online for instructional videos. I get a warning every time I turn the transmitter on because it says my temps are running at below 0 degrees F, no duh I just turned it on. I am not 100 sure/understand if what I'm reading on the transmitter is accurate like voltage and stuff. It needs better labelled for what part it is monitoring. There is no option for me to place a NiMH or Lipo battery so I am still stuck with AA.. So is the device monitoring the transmitter volts, car volts, bec volts, motor volts? no clue. It can get confusing for someone getting into trying to understand this. The product doesn't feel premium but supposedly does premium jobs like other high end transmitters. ... show more

Everything is working great so far. I realized i could have saved about 20 dollars on receivers after i bout the Spektrum SR315 i bought 2 with the radio but after i got them i realized some of my esc have fans that are plugged directly into the esc and not the receiver so i dindt need the extra aux port on the Spektrum SR315. I purchase 2 more receivers the Spektrum SR215 for a total of 4 now. But all is working well. I was able to bind all my cars to this one remote. I will watch a couple of youtube videos to see some of the features available on this remote and edit this review then. ... show more

    • Lots of capability, just need to spend time learning the menus
The features you get for the money is outstanding. The only negative is the screen could be a bit easier to read. The directions are ok, you really need to spend some time getting to know how to navigate the program by experimenting with it.
