I have a 1995 jeep with a hole in the tail pipe. I tried "exhaust tape" and JBL Extreme Heat with no success. I went to this option and it has worked well. I put the exhaust tape on the pipe 1st and then this over the top. The hole being covered is the size of a quarter. So far, it has worked well.

The product itself was fine and a great value for the money. I ordered this with the express reason of needing the thermal wrap too to help seal the exhaust. I ordered this one because it has two sleeve clams the wrap and gloves(which I already have) however they only give you enough wrap for one clamp. I purposely order a little larger to accommodate the wrap. Needless to say I had to buy more wrap. I first also sealed the joint with high heat JB weld then wrapped the joint on both exhaust pipes. This shored up my exhaust leak instantly and has not been a problem since. If you need this for dual exhaust buy more wrap with your order as it is extremely frustrating to have to stop and go to the parts store while the car is up to finish the job. I also recommend the high heat jb weld as this mss as y be overkill but it definitely does the job in combination with the wrap and sleeve clamp.

These clamps came factory on an Audi S4 that I have. One had failed on my original exhaust so I called the dealer and they wanted $60 each. I found these for $20 for both, so I will be replacing the other as well!!! I have yet to install them, but I did inspect them. The sleeves are stainless, the bolts and nuts are steel, and the inserts are aluminum. With all of the dissimilar metals, galvanic action will occcur, in turn causing the clamps or hardware to break-down or corrode quickly. So make sure a Nickel Anti-seize is used during the installation process to help prevent this from happening. Thanks and I will reply extend my review once they are installed. (3/27/22)

The packaging was very poor and one I’ve the parts wasn’t even in a bag like the other was. Just seems like I was sent already opened part basically. Easy to install though and accurate size.
